The black soot in the Farr could B the motor has ran backwards
easy dun by laborin the motor @ idle revs n in a nano secound the wheels turn the oposite way
Before U start the beast have a neat fitting steel plate to cover the Farr inlet as pictured above just in case it wants to run away
Also when a Screemer takes offf U stangle it by restricting the air .......... but a screemer will try and get fuel or oil any way it can by sucking oil up past the piston rings, blower seals or anywhere it can
Screemers can also keep running with some of the parts missing or broken

The most common garden variety of Paarking Spring brakes
24/24 24/30 30/30
those # represents how many cubic inches per pot
B4 U cut the push rod
<1> with spring brake on the floor conect shop air via a fitting into the park brake chamber
<2> insert magic suking adaptor to keep push rod all the way in n nut up to hold sping compressed
<3> release shop air ...
<4> Cut push rod to desired length ( compare with other wheel chambers )

Oh
Th@s HOW
cya

Some things th@ might
<1> Spread on tandem drive
<2> Too much weight on steers
<3> Tyre air pressure
<4> Try higher gear and cruise in on site
<5> Use lower gear with lotsa revs on site
<6> check tandem drive suspension for ease of osillation
<7> Parrallel tracking (look along the walls of tyres}
A pic of the beast could help
With thanx

Drive around with the maximum pressure recommended for the tyre to allow the tyre to seat correctly on the rim
then let m down to 40 psi + or - 20
Should be like a ride with air suspension
U din say single or tandem (4 or 8 tyres)

make tiltn cab easier
open both doors
remove all heavy eqipment (junk) in cab
this can help a little
Fixen broke tilt cab TB
depends where the TB is broken
U could run a split pipe sleeve ovr the break and weld along horizontally

gudday m8
to winch on a D8 up ramps is a big ask
U either pull the truck backwards or brake something
U would need to run the winch cable thru snatchblocks etc
best to have a nother machine to push the D8 up ramps = lot easier and quicker
