  1. oh and when you mean aluminium pop can, I take it you mean like a coke can or soft drink can? I come from New Zealand so haven't heard it be called that before hahaha cheers fjh
  2. Hey thanks. This place has been a big help s far when things happen with our mack. We have been using the one piece joined gaskets but will definetly give your way a go. Cheers jfh
  3. Hi there guys, I'm not too sure if anyone else out there has had this problem before but we have a EA7 454 Enigne in our Mack and it keeps blowing the rubber valve cover gaskets which results in oil leaking out. It always blows out in the covers where there are a couple of groove type slot things cut out from the actual cover, which looks like where little tabs on the gasket should go but there aint no tabs on the rubber gasket. I have checked the mess breather on the valve cover and other basic tests but cant find anything. I have torqued the covers to what the manual recommends and also tried loosing the cover a tad so theres not so much pressure on the gaskets but the gaskets keep blowing out. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Matt
