    Not Mack’s anymore. 6 speed Maxidynes ran for ever very little trouble. We used them hard in WVa hauling coal. Slower but went daily cheap too. Volvo components a joke to maxi torque transmission and camel back springs. Not to mention Maxidyne engine

    I always said you need Fords and International trucks around Mack trucks meant cheaper work. The lightweight difference really helped out. If they got along with big Cummins engines and another ton of lightweight it really helped me
