  1. Thanks guys I appreciate it just got the runny pudding out hadn't been on here yet to see what to do with it. You guys rock always got an answer for me. I whole heartedly appreciate it, dumped a bunch of money in it in the last 3 months just trying to keep my head above water right now. Thanks for the life preserver!
  2. I need to figure out what the best way to flush my transmission out after filling up with coolant. My trans cooler sprung a leak got one ordered, but it pumped coolant into the tranny case to the point of pushing it out the breather valve and shifter tower. Found a service bulletin from eaton on the failure and said to use dexron atf to flush it but the procedure is in another bulletin I can't find. Gotta get this thing back on the road but don't want any residual coolant in there for fear of bearing failures. Thank for any input I appreciate it!
  3. Need a instrument panel circuit board part number85149388 for a cx613 vision.
  4. I currently have my dash cluster out and my 2004 has a wire labeled vacuum wake up behind the cluster harness if that helps you any.
  5. Is there any way to use the newer style cluster or does the acet computer prevent me from using it? Didn't know if I could just wire up the newer style pigtail to my harness and upgrade tge dash. They look tge same other than the gauge layout and light panel. Jojo or Mackpro got any idea if it would work? I'm really pulling straws at this point.
  6. Thanks mack pro and Jojo I appreciate the help but Jojo I have no clue when it comes to those circuit boards I took the cover off and didn't see anything that looked burnt up or felt loose but I definitely am out of my ability zone as far as testing any of that stuff. I seen a couple places that repair clusters Hopefully they can do something with this one . I can't believe I can't find one anywhere I got a couple more boneyard to call but then I'm out of options. I figured if I could figure out the harness I could just wire up my own gauge panel but would have to figure out how to get the low air buzzer and light to work. Everything else should be the same as running new gauges minus the circuit board. I just don't know how the cruise control and the lightning bolt light would need wired. Really hoping I can pull a rabbit out of my hat, she's a good truck and only has 337000 on her was getting ready to get the rest of the stuff fixed on her but can't justify it until I get gauges back. Really not in the position to comfortably go buy another truck right now either. I believe I could ride the old dog out a few more years for sure but this stupid cluster is the only thing standing in my way.
  7. Hey guys my dash is taking the inevitable crap that seems to be normal for these. Im getting the seatbelt light and buzzer for the low air as it comes on and goes off. I have looked everywhere and no place has it part number is 85149388. Everywhere is on backorder with no availability date. Anyone have one? I was wondering if there would be a way to make my own gauge panel using the existing wire harness to feed electric gauges. It has the acet 427 so i know it all runs through the computer and dont want to screw anything up. I have to get running soon im losing money with it just sitting. I have been able to bring it back to life for the last few months but pretty sure its gzve up the ghost. Thanks im sure someone will have an answer or idea.
  8. Thanks Mackpro, I seen two different pulley sizes and the same parts number interchange. Some were listing the 2004 and 2005 years as the 5.9 pulley. Mine has the 5.3 after some hillbilly calipers were applied to it I got a better measurement. Appreciate the answer helps a lot. Everyone is backorder but have found a couple places on the internet that have them in stock. This group is a great resource I'm lucky to have found thanks again!
  9. I need a water pump and the mack dealer gave me two part numbers 316GC3193 and 22200632. Of course there isn't one on the shelf anywhere close but all of the ones I'm looking at to order are showing the 5.3 inch pulley but the one on my truck seems to measure the closer to the 5.9 size. My rough measurement with a tape measure with it on the truck is 5 3/4 . Anyone know if it should be the 5.3 or 5.9 I'm wondering if the wrong one was put on or is the 5.3 an upgrade to the factory design to turn faster with the smaller pulley. Gotta get going I've been down way to much the last couple months and now this. Thanks for any info I appreciate it
  10. I need to replace the oil hoses that feed the turbo and the wastegate actuator valve. Went to the mack dealer and they can't find the line from the wastegate . It is probably a 3/16ths ID stainless braided wrapped line about 3 to 3 and a half foot long. It runs into a control box of some sort on the intake. I was going to have one made but all they had was 1/4 inch which is going to be to big to fit where it needs to be routed. It's an 04 acet ac 427 . Could I get away with running a piece of brake line in its place? I'm at a loss any help or ideas would be appreciated. I'm hoping I can find some one to make one but I'm coming up short everywhere I try. Been down three days and losing money everyday. Thanks for any input
  11. It was shot, replaced it but it's must have unicorn tears inside for the cost. But got it thrown on today and seems to be working good. Thanks for the help I appreciate it
  12. I have the ac 427, so if I unhook the connector and supply power to pin 5 and ground it it should disengage itself if still good? It's locked up to where it slips the belt pretty sure it's shot but I'll try testing it thanks mackpro I appreciate the diagnostic procedure.
  13. Pretty sure it has locked up and needs replaced. Will not release at all anyone have the part number for it? It's got the behr style clutch on it electric no air. Thanks for any help it's like driving a tornado down the road and it's killing what little bit of fuel mileage I get.
  14. Need to replace the bushings in the trailing arms on my cx613 tandem axle . Found a bushing kit and just wondering if it was something I could do without any special tools. Also need to replace the torque rods, are they both the same length? My front axle has a shorter one but is built up with flat washers like it was a quick fix. Got a part number for the rear axle but all the schematic drawings show the same set up front and back . Thanks guys for any help, I'm just trying to keep as much money in my pocket as I can.
  15. I'll check those out tomorrow too, I've been afraid to stretch her legs so I've been running super short loads but gotta get her moving and making more money. Thanks for the response Joey Mack I appreciate the starting points
  16. I'll check it tomorrow, I checked my grounds at the batteries today on my break , going to check all my connections tomorrow. Seen someone say the main power relay may be going bad and breaking down with the engine heat. Going to try checking those tomorrow also. Just trying to get a starting point, seems to be a common problem.
  17. Yep 04 ac427 aset cx613 driving me crazy just got it working and now it's throwing that light most of the time it's only on for a couple seconds longest it's been on constantly is about 15 to twenty seconds.
  18. Been having the lightning bolt light coming on and off repeatedly. Doesn't stay on long mostly when under a load but if you ease up just a little on the throttle sometimes it goes right out. Tried to blink check it and will only blink codes when the light is on. Truck seems to be running fine all gages are reading good. Have gotten a 3-5, 6-4, 6-5, 3-2 it's all over the place. Any ideas on where to start?
  19. Figured it out, used the first hole in the fifth wheel plate angle. Worked out almost perfect! Thanks guys I appreciate the help. Really glad I found this group, has been really helpful so far .
  20. Thanks Joey mack I have a different setup on the spring hanger. Mine has three bolts on each side and two bolts in the center. One level with the top spring hanger bolts and one centered above the leaf spring bolt. I have a hole where it looks like they had a pair on the rear axle but none on the front. Thought that was a little weird but it's the center hole above the spring bolt on the back held it up there and looks like a good spot not to high, but I was looking at the bolt in front of the spring hanger you showed also . I appreciate the help man thanks a lot!
  21. Bought new tire and am playing Russian roulette with my back window. Need to get these quarter fenders mounted up to catch some of these rocks instead of the back of my cab. Looks like the crossmember bolt that is centered in the spring hanger would be the best bet, but I've seen some mounted on the back side of the spring hanger on the second bolt down. Gonna be running containers and bobtailing some so just trying to keep my window. Lol thanks for any input I appreciate it.
  22. I picked up a set of stainless ones for cheap and they use the post style mount. Do you mount yours on the spring hanger bolt or use the crossmember bolt that sits center of the spring hanger from front to back? Got new tires and bobtailing is dangerous without them. I thought I was going to lose my back window.
  23. Well thanks for the help I was sweating that! I need to get an annual done on it after I get tires and thats the only issue I can find, had me pulling my hair out. Thanks again guys I really appreciate all the help.
  24. Well if that don't make me feel like a dummy, I could've sworn they should have functioned as marker lights also since they had a dual element bulb. Isn't a side marker required? And why two wires to the plug when the light grounds itself.
  25. Yeah the ones under the doors, should light up solid as a markerbut don't unless I'm wrong . They have a dual element bulb, two wires into plug and ground through light Everything else works fine
