FJB edition…🤣

It’s the one with the big cartridge bolt in the center. Turn the cartridge until the shoulders on the cartridge lock up on the end cover. It can be a pain if you have a bunch of air lines in the way of the bolt. Otherwise not too bad. AD-9 would be my second favorite.
PS….thanks!

I like the AD-IP myself.

Joey, see the diagram for turbo cut off valve and write up on it. Mark, check out troubleshooting chart #10 closer to the bottom.

There’s a turbo cut off valve in that purge valve.

Change the purge valve and check for air leaks between the governor and dryer

I was wanting to ask him the same thing... PTT is cheap to buy, the vocomm box is pricey, but I also dont know if there are other products out there.. this stuff moves faster than me now..
I highly doubt he does. PTT and vocomm should come free with every truck purchase. You’re gonna need it….

Def check the fuel pressure like Joey said. You will more then likely get a CEL sooner then later.
-
Do you have PTT? If not you’re gonna play a long and expensive guessing game.

Pry shouldn’t have had a month long auction with shit pictures.

Truck ended at 26,500, reserve not met. I talked to the guy that’s a member there and he said they will vote on it tomorrow and will probably accept it. So if anyone was legit interested and wouldn’t mind paying a bit more I’d suggest reaching out to them tomorrow.

Haha, this new shit moves so fast you better keep on it every week or you will be left in the dust it seems like. I’m getting their myself. However there should never be an education you mind losing.

I just want to thank all for your help once again. Hope to be able to return the favor one day.
Guaranteed you be able to return the favor someday, and very well likely it will be me. You seem to have a pretty good knowledge base on these and with diagnosis in general. Nobody is a know it all with these engines and the more brain power we can get on this forum with them the better.

In the water manifold, make sure the radiator is clean.

OK thats what I will do, and when they are down I will keep you posted. Thanks
I think that’s the best next step to take. Hopefully you find a lot of soot.

That outlet temp looks suspicious to me. Usually, not always, but usually when I see that the outlet temp is that much higher than the inlet I find the filter is clogged. Especially if it ran for awhile with the gunked up doser.
So, the soot level will reset for you manually?
Agreed, I think you should consider taking a look at the filter. I think you will find it face plugged.

I’m not gonna suggest anything extensive before these two read over the info. You have done a great job with your report.
