I was thinking the same thing when I saw that torch work. I can’t cut anywhere close to that nice with a plasma cutter. I like there method of “spot welding” too.

That 5.9 is sooo much better than that shitty 8.2 Detroit they put in a lot of them. My god they were terrible….throw away engines.

It’s a group effort around here, all the guys that posted were right on track I learn a lot from them as well. Sounds like you got your problem pin pointed. Glad you’re able to do this yourself and no more trips/money wasted at the dealership! -

Thanks hot oiler! This is what we need. You are very correct on the abs wheel speed and correlation with vss. It will cause a derate. He claims to have no codes. Did you have any? -

What’s odd is that shutting the truck off resets the truck and all is fine. I wonder if the instrument cluster module is going out of it or abs sensor(s). Let’s have him check easy and free things first though. Id like to see some other ideas on this too.
