  5. https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/pts/d/hot-rod-mack-truck-project/6726260042.html more pics in the ad I have a 1949 Mack truck project with one ton G.M. dually suspension. The frame is stock Mack, so cab mounts, fender bracket mounts, and running board mounts are all stock. The body work has been done on a very nice original cab as are the running boards. The grille is an excellent original that I painted in my planned paint scheme. All parts are there to pick thru to make a very nice truck. I have lowered price and will sell the extra parts myself to recoup dollars invested. The frame has been set up for big block Chevrolet. The fuel tanks do not go with truck. Questions? Call...

  10. I found a side mirror! Still looking for the pedestal though.
  11. the e-series door mirrors seem to be hard to find too. any info would be appreciated
  12. one of these shows the "V" a bit better I think. The one that shows the model as "EHU" on the grill. Very nice.
  13. i know i said hood part but i meant the pedestal. It says 'Mack' on it and when you look at it from the front in comes to a point, making a "V" shape. This part hugs the curve of the hood and acts as a pedestal for the bulldog.
  14. i guess i'm looking for one of these, as near as I can tell. It seems like i can probably get a bulldog easy enough off ebay, but the hood part i may need help with. i
  15. I'm starting a project soon. If you can overlook my selfishness, it would be great if you could give us all a glimpse into the pitfalls of starting a project like this. Looks like some decent painting went on there. Can I ask what happened? Why stop now I mean. It looks like you're well on your way. I know there are many things that you can't control, and possibly some mistakes were made. If you could give us your story, it could help the next guy. Anyway, best of luck selling your stuff. There are great pictures but it would also help to let us know if you plan to part it out or if you're looking for someone to buy the whole lot.
  16. Thanks. Never realized how few vehicles are yellow. Nearly everything I've seen so far is construction equipment. Of course, if someone should post a nice one for sale somewhere, then that would certainly be easier...
  17. In August 2015 someone posted two Mack trucks, a 45U and an EEU to ebay. Here is a link to the ad posted on another site: https://bringatrailer.com/2015/08/18/first-of-10-built-partially-restored-1940-mack-45u/ Does anyone know if they were sold? If the original owner still has them I'd like to contact them and see if we can come to an agreement. If it was sold, then I'd like to contact the new owner and find out their disposition. If anyone has any info please let me know. I am going to start looking through the streets of Perris on Google Street View to see if I can find it 😉 Just kidding. I'm going to use satellite view.
  18. Looking for short wheel base if possible but not picky. Where are all the tanker versions of this truck I see in all the old black and white photos? That would be great too.
  19. I found this link where you posted four pictures. are any of these the one's for sale?
  20. i could swear i replied to you a couple days ago. I must have forgot to hit send. I'm interested. In your profile you have an album with a truck in it that could be one of these. Let me know where the ads are posted please.
  21. I'm also looking for 45U / EEU / EFU / EGU / EHU / EMU / EQU (1937 - 1950) basically any very old mack coe. not picky at all but the smaller the better.
