  1. Nice pup Jay! I've been busy lately and got behind on BMT. Last I heard you were thinking of selling the U. I'm guessing you sold it? Trey
  2. Underdog, how is the RW doing for you? Trey
  3. Olivetroad, rest assured there will always be guys like that because they took the time to make an impression on guys like you who pass it down to guys like your boys and on and on. And Mackman and all of us. Thank God for guys like that! Trey
  4. My favorite red tractor! 1155, great old tractor.
  5. I used to work for New Holland and I couldn't believe how many of those things are still out there. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if I never work on another one.
  6. A E9 in a B would be awesome but I doubt if you could keep it cool. I had a 400 3406B, 9speed over, 4.10's in a Freightshaker(can't believe I admitted that on here!) and like Slpwlker said, it was a beast. I sure wish I was only 20 miles from all those trucks! Good luck and welcome aboard! Trey
  7. Yeah, just like our 930 except for the big rear tires and fenders of the wheatland. Always did like the looks of those. I also remember the eagle & globe on the steering wheel.
  8. Bet that was a nice one Rob! My dad had a Case 930 diesel wheatland and a 1570. The 930 had a hand clutch and I can remember pulling a chisel rig with it when I was a kid, had to stay close to the clutch because if you hit hard ground, it wouldn't quit pulling and had so many weights the front end would jump up. Miss that old tractor too. Sure sounded good with a straight pipe although it had some surface rust on the pipe and sometimes a piece of rust would fly off and hit you in the face and that wasn't very pleasant. Lots of good memories though. Trey
  9. My granddad had a 70 and two 730s, all diesels. Wish I still had them around. Trey
  10. Any luck yet? Seems to be the standard anymore for "service". If that's what you still call it.
  11. Can't say much for the service department since I do my own work but there's a bunch of good honest guys in parts. Also bought my truck there and was very pleased with them on that too. Hope they get you going soon and without a lot of $$$$$! Trey
  12. Never seen doors that open that way.
  13. Bigen, you're not too far from me. When you're at Bruckner's, look up Tony in parts. Lots of good guys in there. Trey
  14. Heh heh! Guess I live a sheltered life. Rob thanks for modulating for us! Trey
  15. It will not work machining the stud holes because the center hole for the hub is different also. Trey
  16. You can bring it to Texas and help me but we won't exactly be moving dirt. Trey
  17. I agree with you Larry on the noise thing, and nice rides! Good to see something besides a Camaro.Trey
  18. Congrats! Glad to know there's still people who would rather do what they can than sit at home and draw unemployment.
  19. If you want to go to hub piloted you will have to change the hubs.
  20. Those look like stud piloted and given the age, that's probably what it had. Hub pilot have one nut while stud piloted have an inner barrel/nut and an outer nut.
  21. Just keep practicing. You'll get it down one of these days! Practice makes perfect. Trey
  22. Congrats! Many happy years together! Trey
