I should also mention that I am a red seal certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with both my Truck transport and Off-road designations. I also am an Instructor at Lakeland College in Vemilion Alberta in the HET (Heavy Equipment Tech) program. I have my class#1 CDL here in Alberta, and Farm 650 acres of hay crop in the summers (when I am not teaching).

Hello from the great white north. Growing up in the 1970's and 80's I fell in love with the R model Mack trucks that my Grandfather had. As a child he would frequently take me hauling with him when I wasn't in school. in the summers he hauled gravel and equipment, and in the winters he hauled logs. He drove trucks from the early 50's until he retired in 1998. this red one was my favorite truck. I hope to get my hands on a similar R and restore it to look like it.
