  1. Would a front axle from a 91 Mack Econodyne work in the front of my 94 ch613? Or do I need a axle out of a CH only?
  2. Yes Underdog that is what I'm referring too. My grandpa always called them a California spoke for some reason but to my understanding they are the same thing. I assumed the hub would be different but was considering putting the whole axle under my CH613, but to answer 880joe question the yellow truck is a CL700. I wasn't sure if the axle would work under my ch613 either. Thanks for your feedback.
  3. I have a question. Is the 16,000lb front axle different lug pattern then the 12,000lb? I had a truck with a 20,000lb axle on the front and the pattern was different and ran a special wheel to hold extra weight. I have California spoke wheels on the front of my Mack ch613 now and want to put nice aluminum bud wheel on and I thought I could just swap axles. I attached a picture of the axle in question. This yellow truck is getting parted out on Craigslist. He wants $1000 for the front axle. Thanks!
  4. I buffed mine out with the kit that sanded them down in a 3 step process. Worked great for 6 years, thought about doing it again. I also put brighter bulbs in mine.
  5. Hey guys, On my 94 CH613 Mack I smell something burning when my wipers are on for a continuous time. Its a faint smell and the wipers do seem to slow down. One time they stopped all together in the middle of a rain storm and I had to turn it off and use intermittently. Is my switch bad or wiper motor bad? or other ideas? I don't want to just start throwing parts at it and not fix the problem. Thanks!
  6. Thanks guys! I never thought of myself too much as a brand follower but I really am liking the Mack's. Maybe it's in my blood. My dad bought a brand new burgundy Mack superliner as a log truck and I always liked that truck.
  7. Hello, my name is Tony and I own a 94 Mack CH613. I have owned it for about 10 years. I recently bought a KW T-800 to replace it but ended up selling the KW and went back to driving my ole Mack again. I have a bunch of questions and thought this would be the place to ask. Where I'm from people don't really seem to care for Mack trucks especially mid nineties Macks. Is that the bad years? I have had really good luck with mine and I'm thinking about just putting some money in her and fixing her up a bit. My truck specs is Mack E7 350, Eaton super 10spd, 270" wheelbase w/24 flatbed, camel back suspension. Excited to be in a group with some Mack friends!
