    Friend has an older mack with the above size tires with 8 inch wide rims(dayton style). I am going to start calling around for a used rim, will all 24 inch rims be the 8 inch width or did they make 24 inch rim with the 8.5 width. I have made a few calls already and am surprised that some truck people keep telling me that its a 24.5 wheel not a 24. any help? thanks
