I haven't had a chance to check with dealer yet. The hinge issue just came to light a couple days ago. I think the problem is more the fiberglass deteriorating where the hood hinges are attached. The metal hinge parts seem ok. Maybe replace "tie rod" ends for good measure. Talked to a friend who has a SL, and he said he had to have his reworked at the hinge connections. Seems a common problem with larger hood.

My Superliner hood hinges are in tough shape. Anyone know if parts are available through Mack, or am I going to have start searching for parts.

Lightening bolt dash light and check transmission light both came on with no apparent issues surfacing. Checked transmission fluid level which was full. Anyone have any ideas Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
