  1. Was going through the lifetimes on our 330Horsepwr C9 CAT engine in a 972K loader. Interim 4. Total operating hours 29,241 Total Engine Rotations 2,046,751,236 Total fuel squirted out the tip of the 7th injector creating no profitable power displacement............. 3,615.4 gallons
  2. I think maybe even since the late 70's? The French were both feet completely in after 1990 so they were on board for PLN and E-Tech, Vmac I, Vmac II, Vmac III. Volvo ate Renault in 2000, squatted in nearest bush and grunted out the Aset AI/AC debacle and then the 2007 MP emissions aftertreatment debacle.
  3. IMO..... In terms of brilliance, oh yeah, very smart. Using what they had....... to get to where they needed to be........... without breaking the bank to get there. But......Start taking apart any European design (taking into account E-7 platform is French) and you will know in the first 4 hours of work that "this is European". I spent two weeks in Japan and same mindset. They grow up in a small house, on a tight street that only a cabover truck can turn onto, with 2' sidewalks and learn that longing for personal space is a greedy, anti-social, vice. When they go to engineering college they sleep every night in a capsule bed on top of a fellow student. They drive a sub-compact to class and learn to build O'so small, tight and tiny. While back I was swapping a German Head for a swallowed intake valve. Got the new head bolts and they were converted from hex head 18MM to a female torx socket. Why? Saved space? Nope.......redesign!?Nope.....New torque spec?.....Nope, Nope and Nope.....Just a nice "tighter" design so the engineer can call mom to bolster her pride.
  4. I showed this pic to the wife and kids. They asked if it was Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel Mary Anne. Guess Mom has Kids reading Great Depression era stuff?
  5. Up surfing last night and found Doc is dropping three of his Mack's. https://wausau.craigslist.org/cto/d/mack-trucks/6579067925.html
  6. Dog is probably just dreaming about a delicious, juicy, terrorist standing up and yelling “Alluah Akbar” on her flight?
  7. Go to the first page. It’s on the chart I sent to you. Those are legit part numbers. See “KH” numbers by tooth count. Pinion and gear are a set, spur and bull are not machined as mated pairs.
  8. Good deal Vlad, I ran your numbers through our Corporation’s bearing supplier and came back $314.78 on the 47622W and $351.22 on the 47622BW. A “High End” bearing, probably Timken? The wait was 15 weeks. Your rolling on Gold Brother!!! Safe travels...
  9. Did you get your answer Vlad? I won't bother with it if you already confirmed your numbers.
  10. In the legal sense of the word, but over his stock factory HP.
  11. That's hilarious!! I keep picturing the guy running around without a door on his CL.
  12. Sounds like a D-Give-A-D attitude infecting his business? Don't interpret that as "never die", they do often die slow and can look ugly for a long time (like yours coughing up teeth for the last 9 months). Smart soft-terrain operators use to pull the window at the top and get a new set of free pinion gears at the end of the warranty period. We would install them in chassis for having pits. Not so much on the 200's though. We eventually started a sales spec policy at the dealership, nothing under 200 for off-road. Check your ratio, tooth count top and bottom, on the failure and on the received rebuilt carrier......... trust no mortal !!!
  13. Had a guy come in once with his top pinion driver and gear driver completely unhinged. The top gear retainer plate snapped the three bolts, let go, and spur was coming through the right-side bubble cover of the diff top. Pinion/gear looked like surface of the moon, but chunkier. Guy slapped a $20 (plus time and material) for me to stay over night and have him going by 5AM with same gears. Put him together and it went 1 1/2 hauling seasons, daily driver, before it let go. Mack Diffs are tough-unto-death. That was a quad with lighter series 92/93 diffs. It was not a good practice, but times like that are fun because you get an answer to the question "How long could these failed gears actually go before they frag out?".
  14. Weller has one for a Hendrickson with drilled four stud to rear. $5,280.00 w/core removed from bottom price. Spendy !!! Core value is $3,3351.82 Grand Rapids, Michigan 414-354-6400/ Jay/ Quote #644239 Be aware your number did not trip in his system........so check it again at dealership record?
  15. Oops, no soap box for Jason today. Was hoping to preach on the financial benefits of stock engines.
  16. Most folks never blow a 200 series, maybe a good sign if you can't find one readily available on the street corner. You often just get a banjo crack under the upper window side, take in water and destroy the bearings. Of course..... I WAS clucking like a wet hen when you said you put a 460XT ECM in it.....
  17. If you have a "CR" it means carrier If you have a "D" it means dual reduction If you have "L" it is light weight (aluminum case) If you have "P" it means interaxle power divider the number "202", "112", "95", etc, tell you the series if you have "I" it means interwheel power divider (peanut cage in each differential center) Before you know what you need you have to look at what gears are reuseable. Top gears shot (pinions)? Lower end shot (bull and spur)? Was there any water contamination in the case of a bearing failure?
  18. Holy SPOKES Batman, this is really turning into an EXTENDED COLUMN.
  19. Don't be so hard on yourself. Your 60+, sporting a girlfriend and playing with full auto BARs instead of hanging out at bingo halls! Little "S" was not so dumb to be shot on sight. It was timed out strategically as long as no one would engage him. He dropped the gun, walked out with the other kids, went to subway, then McDonalds, and was on his leisure when the Cops got him hour(s) later. They don't mention that detail much due to the overwhelming number of screw-ups already surrounding the tragedy. If he wanted to he could have executed two mass shootings that day to really exalt himself to the level of top mass shooter.
  20. Buy a 2 piece saddle, push a neoprene center onto existing trunnion, center it, weld the standard (otherwise bolted on) retainer ring on end of trunnion stub and torque saddle down. Suspension was designed with this secondary repair in mind. It is not a cobble job. The retaining ring and two piece saddle are both the OEM components you would use on a standard rubber center. FJH is a dealer and they apparently do it, we did it as well at our dealership. We also fabricated an indestructible trunnion brace. It flanges the outside of the Frame, uses the same trunnion anchor bolts and welds on to trunnion face. Once installed you can’t crack a trunnion, maybe rust through eventually. You would break the frame before trunnion. We designed it for Michigan trains with a local fabrication shop.
  21. Guess so??? Even rougher night on cell block 6.
  22. The trucker who struck the bus is in Columbia County Jail for five counts OWI and causing great bodily harm. It was 10AM?
  23. Preacher doesn't study Biblical or Secular history...... Unfortunately, too many Christians today don't look up to see the blood-soaked umbrella that is being held over their head by our Constitution. Insert/replace "disarmed population" for "Fascist and Communist regimes". The case for higher numbers of Christian martyrs Todd M. Johnson The Center for the Study of Global Christianity estimates that more than 70 million Christians have been martyred over the last two millennia. More than half of these were in the 20th century under fascist and communist regimes. For the early 21st century, we estimate that 1 million Christians were killed over the 10-year period from 2000–2010, an average of approximately 100,000 Christians killed each year. Here are six reasons why the numbers of Christian martyrs are large. 1. We use a broad definition, not a narrow one. For a quantitative analysis of martyrdom, Christian martyrs are defined as “believers in Christ who have lost their lives prematurely, in situations of witness, as a result of human hostility.” This definition has five essential elements: a. “Believers in Christ”. These individuals come from the entire Christian community of Roman Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Anglicans, and Independents. In 2010, there were over 2.2 billion individuals who were Christians. Cumulatively, since the time of Christ, over 8.5 billion people have been Christians. b. “Lost their lives”. The definition of “martyr” is restricted to Christians who have actually been put to death. c. “Prematurely”. Martyrdom is typically sudden, abrupt, unexpected, and unwanted. d. “In situations of witness”. “Witness” in this definition does not mean only public testimony or proclamation concerning belief in Jesus. It refers to the entire lifestyle and way of life of the Christian, whether or not he or she is actively proclaiming at the time of death. It is here that some might take exception to our methodology. That is, persons who are acting out of Christian conviction (such as in defying unjust orders from police or soldiers, or trying to restrain mob violence) and are killed as a result might not be making an explicit verbal proclamation of their faith at their time of death. However, they are counted as martyrs to the extent that their actions in such situations are a testimony to their faith. e. “As a result of human hostility”. This excludes deaths through accidents, crashes, earthquakes and other “acts of God,” illnesses, or other causes of death, however tragic.
  24. Thanks for your service and to all members on here who serve(d),
  25. Two thoughts....... 1. Your ability to own/carry a gun is becoming relative to the interpretation of individuals, not laws......Examples License to Carry In exceptional cases when an adult applicant shows reason to fear injury or is engaged in the protection of life and property, the Hawaiʻi County police chief may grant a license to carry. For detailed information on who may be granted a license, see Section 134-9 of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes. At what point did we delegate civil authority to legislate our civil rights? Where the urgency or the need has been sufficiently indicated, the respective chief of police may grant to an applicant of good moral character who is a citizen of the United States of the age of twenty-one years or more, is engaged in the protection of life and property, and is not prohibited under section 134-7 from the ownership or possession of a firearm, a license to carry a pistol or revolver and ammunition therefor unconcealed on the person within the county where the license is granted. What is Moral Character? If the sheriff is a Christian and the recipient is a flaming LBGT can he withhold the permit via personal interpretation(and vice-versa)? If the person follows the laws of the land give them their rights! After every shooting there is a lateral search for someone to blame, someone who possibly enabled the bad behavior. A doctor who takes the side of caution will naturally protect himself from prosecution (public persecution) by assigning mental illness to a borderline patient, relinquishing all personally liability for the persons actions. 2.Once your registered into the Rap Back your gun will be Federally registered in all states.
