Mack B613lst, duplex transmission. The truck was orginally built for Sinclair Oil. It runs and shifts great. It has a wetline for dump trailer. The truck needs some body work like all macks this age. it'll start and load on a trailer with no problems. Its located between Mobile AL and Pensacola FL just off I-10. Asking $3800 call 251-979-5092

It looks like an old Dewitt ready mix truck, as they were big in western New York at that time.

We were together 18 years, married for 15, and she bought me the Mack as a birthday present, then wanted me to sell it.

Darn, now you tell me, where was this info a year ago. Actually she said either the Mack or her had to go, I still have the Mack...lol

I also went to BOCES, we had a R model for a live unit and a couple mack engines on stands, along with a some other brands of trucks and engines to tear apart. Most of the engines on stands were cummins, being that the l-10 were built less than 5 miles from the school.

On E-bay last year, there was someone i think out west that had just the stripped out cab and he wanted big money for it. If i remember right, it was painted yellow, and the man said it was an old state highway truck.

I had the same problem with mine. What i did was remove the side cover on the pump, and soaked everything down with penetrating oil. I made sure the cam lobe was down. Then i took a small brass punch and tapped the plunger down. Soaked everything down again. Rolled the engine over pushing the plunger back up. then tapped it back down. I had to repeat this 6 or 7 times to get it to free up. i know this might not be proper way to do it , but it worked for me.

I was wondering who all was going to Huntsville, and if there was going to be a group get together or anything? I plan on being there but only as a spectator.

changing cabs isn't all that bad. make sure everything is unhooked. i roll the windows down, slide a 4x4 through them, wrap a strap around each end then up to the bucket of the excavator. i make sure the 4x4 is up next to the vent windows, that is the balance point of most cabs. hope this helps

Thank you for the compliments. I feel lot better now that its running. The man i bought it from said it hadn't run in at least 5 years. After freeing up a couple plungers in the injector pump, and some clean fuel it came right to life, with no smoke, no funny noises, and good oil pressure.
