  1. The Australian ads are interesting. The air cleaner and luberfiners are on the opposite sides from their U.S. counterparts. The C90D is my favorite Diamond Reo model. I like them so much I even bought one.
  2. I'm going to try to get there in my Brand X truck. The weather looks pretty good.
  3. This is my friends' R model. I can't think of the year or specs. It has the 6 speed lo hole, he changed over to single stick air shift. I'm one the few people he's let drive it.
  4. Holmes had a terminal in Bellows Falls, Vt. a half mile from the St. Johnsbury terminal. Growing up in a machine tool town there was lots of freight being shipped in and out. A great time for a truck loving kid.
  5. They have an auction in Arkansas on October 17 with some B models. http://www.vanderbrinkauctions.com/auctions_details.php?detail=156&allimages=NO
  6. Thanks, a liitle something there for everybody.
  7. Congrats, another piece of fire apparatus is saved.

  9. Thanks, I really like the green & red Autocar tractor.
  10. O.K. I thought the one they had was a B 60 with a painted radiator shell. Edit: I believe you're right Jim, I found some shots of it before the chrome radiator shell and other changes. Maybe they'll bring it to So. Deerfield tomorrow.
  11. I don't come around much, but I didn't think this has been discussed before. Mack made quite a few gas powered busses, but this appears to be one of two B 61s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa2v6qnufRQ
  12. This one looks pretty clean in the picture. http://burlington.craigslist.org/hvo/4423749740.html
  13. Nice little tractor, reminds me of some of the St. Johnsbury rigs that were around here in the seventies.
  14. This was at a car show in Manchester, Vt. in 2009. It had Irvington on the doors. I thought someone here may know the truck.
  15. Nice to see something unusual being saved. I know of one around here a guy had, I think it was a Plymouth Rock tractor. Then theres the one that was a St. Johnsbury yard horse. I think that was advertised for sale recently.
  16. Congrats, that is a nice tractor. I hope you have many years of enjoyment with it.

  18. I was checking out a Youtube clip of a U model with a 711. I always liked the sound of that engine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq-BiT0GMAQ
  19. Nice tractor. Looks like a current IFTA sticker on it.
  20. Country Girl Diner in Chester, Vermont. As a kid I would beg my folks to stop so I could get the latest Overdrive. Been through alot of different owners over the years.
  21. Somebody from Temple, N.H. had this IH V model at the Barrington show within the last few years. I think it was a state truck.
