  1. Today I got the first issue, which I got last summer, along with the second issue.
  2. That's a cool looking body. It reminds me of something from the 1950s.
  3. Interesting article, I had that issue out a few days ago.
  4. Were those pages still in the magazine or cut out? I ask because with my scanner you would have to squash the mag down hard to get a good scan. Some of the older stuff I have is pretty tender.
  5. I wondered if anyone has gotten the second issue yet?
  6. I'd have to say mid to late 1970s R models are my favorite: because they remind me of when I was young! I drove three different R686STs, the first one had a 5 speed and a worthless Dynatard. The other two had six speed lo holes. The one I spent the most time in was a 1976 DM685S farm pick up truck. Lots of good times in that one with my AC/DC 8 tracks blasting!
  7. Mine would be a tractor that I drove at times in the early eighties: R686ST-9200.
  8. I was trying to figure out what the wrecker is. They may still have it.
  9. The Ft. Edward truck is on 22A in Shoreham. Pics are from 1984. The Matlack truck is stuck on Rt. 17 between Bristol and Waitsfield. Not a good road in the summer. That one is from Dec. 30, 1969. We got huge amounts of snow that winter. The blizzard of '78 had little effect on Vermont, most of the state got no snow. Meanwhile, the Matlack rig is still stuck!
  10. I think this might be part of a DVD I got from the ATHS a few years ago. Very interesting to watch.
  11. I spent the day riding in this one. 1963? H-67, s/a w/tag. The company had it for a short time, it was never painted the company color. I only took this one picture, film was a big expense when you're only getting 50 cents a week allowance. Some guys I talk to now think it may have been a Tremblay ? tractor from Mass.
  12. Top one, real. Bottom two, ' shopped. Grandpa told me so.
  13. Very nice, my favorite kind of truck. Original and unrestored.
  14. Thanks for sharing, pretty good mix of stuff there. You don't often see two White 7400s at the same show.
  15. This was at our house in 1974 pouring the deck for a swimming pool.
  16. I think he has another, both from Ogden Utah? That was before I 'went digital' so I only took a few pictures. Mr Hancock was there, he may have taken some.
  17. I was in Keene N.H. a few weeks ago, walking around downtown. Passing the fire station I was stunned to see a chrome sphere through the doors. I went in and asked if members of the public could check out the Ahrens Fox. They were quite happy to let me check it out, its a 1930, can't remember the model! I was invited to come back any time with my camera.
