Would anyone happen to have a air line diagram for 89 RW 613? Or know where I can buy one? As I am fixing I am realizing the previous owner did a number on everything he touched. I am getting ready To go thru the complete air system and would like a guide so to speak in case there is anythin missing. As always thanks in advance you guys are great help for newbs like me.

Looks great! You do beautiful work! Can I ask a question though? Where you spliced the frame I see you left it strait vertical. I have seen all different ways people do it. Any reason you chose that way over the others? I'm just wondering.

Hi everyone, I'm in the parts gathering process Superliner. My engine is a E6 300 4V with a 9 speed maxitorque. It seems to run well and sounds good but, has a more than fair amount of blow by and when the temp goes down it doesn't want to start. We are talking 30-40 deg f. Anyway getting back to my ? I found a 79 E9 400 with low mi it looks to be complete with fan alternator turbo ect.. they want $6500 for it. and i know rebuilding my E6 can add up to that easily. Would it be worth the swap and would it bolt to my trans? I haven't seen the engine in person, is that year a year to stay clear of? It would be going into a 89 truck if that makes a difference. Also it looks to have a luberfiner filter could that be converted to spin on filters? The truck is just a toy I figured a good running used motor should last a long time plus I'd rather have the E9 even though its just to have it. Thanks in advance for the help. -Pete

Well I guess I figured out why the one the one that was in the superliner that was messed up was messed up. 4.42 in the front 4.12 in the back. Is that even a Mack ratio? Well anyway that combo in aluminum splits the case. We found out the good parts I have won't help my friend out. That being said thank you Vlad for your info and thank you to all the rest of the people that contributed the previous info. Great info learned and stored in my rolodex.

Thank you for sort of "dumbing it down" for me, I was trying to get a grasp on the way it was explained above. It having a hard time with it. This made it a lot easier for me.

I hate to bring up a old thread but is there a chance someone has a gear chart they could post? I am trying to figure out if I can use some of my old parts to help a friend out.

Yep they are. I had to check twice.

On my 89 superliner. When I first went and looked at it. It built air psi. But when it got delivered, it wouldn't build any at all. Nothing has changed. I cracked a line and you can hear air but it's not much. So I guess I wondering is there a check valve or a governer on the compressor? I know freightliners have a governer that if it goes out it won't build air. I'm not familiar with the systems. I may have looked right at it and didn't notice one. Thanks in advance for any insite.
