Hi, I'm new here. I have a 73 RL685LS with all alum. frame and spring hangers. I have a broken front spring shackle/rad. mount. Local dealer says part no longer avalable. I don't know what to do. The truck started life as a concrete truck, it has very low miles and we rigged it up as a turkey litter spreader. It works great but not so good with a busted front shackle. Any help would help. By the way we run 8 R-models and they do the job everyday! I have been a mack mechanic at a dealer in southern Indiana for 18 years. This is the first dealings I've had with a RL. Its old but works fine. I don't want to scrap the truck over something I can repair. Before you ask it has been welded long before I got the truck, I would like to find out where I could atleast find a good used one. Any help would be welcomed. Thank you.
