  1. After 38 years I'm not about to make any changes.
  2. Found a pair of these at a truck show probably 25 years ago. Assumed they were hood badges but have never seen them on any pictures of trucks. Both dogs face to the right. They measure approx. 3.5 by 3.5 inches and have two threaded mounting holes on the back. Solid and heavy for size. Any ideas?? Bus? Fire Truck?
  3. When she puts up with all the garbage and aggravation associated with the trucking industry (and your hobby truck) and she still takes the time to make sweaters for your bulldogs, you know she loves you.
  4. Better get him a sweater before he becomes a chili dog. Sorry...
  5. I saved these pics from the e-bay listing because my B-42 started out it's life as a fuel oil delivery truck in 1956 before the previous owner modified it to a dump truck. There is also a you-tube video. Search Mack B-42 Mobil oil fuel truck and it will come up.
  6. After a hard day hauling gravel, the B-42 becomes a recreational vehicle.
  7. A little elbow grease and routine service and it's ready to go.
  8. From the album: 1956 Mack B-42 Dump Truck album 2

Took one bottle of cleaner wax and several cans of Rustoleum gloss black spray paint on bumper, fuel tank, and dump box to make a huge difference in appearance.
  9. From the album: 1956 Mack B-42 Dump Truck

Off the trailer and on the ground in VA.
