Found a pair of these at a truck show probably 25 years ago. Assumed they were hood badges but have never seen them on any pictures of trucks. Both dogs face to the right. They measure approx. 3.5 by 3.5 inches and have two threaded mounting holes on the back. Solid and heavy for size. Any ideas?? Bus? Fire Truck?

I saved these pics from the e-bay listing because my B-42 started out it's life as a fuel oil delivery truck in 1956 before the previous owner modified it to a dump truck. There is also a you-tube video. Search Mack B-42 Mobil oil fuel truck and it will come up. -

Took one bottle of cleaner wax and several cans of Rustoleum gloss black spray paint on bumper, fuel tank, and dump box to make a huge difference in appearance. -
