  1. Thank you. Mystery is solved. Kinda disappointed it’s not a real Mack. Think I may still grab it and see if it’s any good
  2. The data tag is missing, but it used to be under the exhaust manifold
  3. I know the guy that has it. He’s supposed to send me more pics and look for data tag. He told me I can have it, if I want it. Didn’t have anything there to load it in my truck at the time
  4. I don’t believe roosamaster pumps were in production until the mid 50s
  5. E-5? Never heard of 1 before. But the more I look at it, the more it reminds me of an ih d361. I actually thought that’s what it was before I saw it said Mack diesel on the exhaust manifold. But wouldn’t e5 indicate that it would be in the 500 cubic inch area? It’s way to small for that
  6. Stumbled upon this old Mack diesel with a roosamaster injection pump today. Forgot to look for a data tag. I’ve never seen/ heard of a Mack diesel this small or with a roosamaster injection pump. I would say it’s around 300 cubic inch. Naturally aspirated. Anyone know what it is?
  7. they never used to, sat 2 months over the winter and fired right up. just started going dead in april. both batteries were new in august of last year. ordered 2 1800amp disconnect switches for it this afternoon
  8. Something is drawing the batteries dead, so I could raise the body. But I crawled under and got 33.25"inside of frame rails and 8" tall for the cross members
  9. Any interest in a near new set (2) of 5" in/out muffler stacks with heat shields? Wanting to put stacks on my super liner and won't need these. Hoping to fund it by selling these or even trading. They look like new with no rust. They are located in salt point,ny
  10. I will measure them and get back to you. Thankyou
  11. And yes, previous owner put the newer rectangular head lights in it
  12. it is a Canadian truck. speedo in km/h only and Canadian spread rear axles. also has the steering box mounted on the front axle. only reason I know it was a tractor is the trolley valve on the steering column doesn't do anything even though you can hear air moving when you pull it and the capped off air valves at the back of the cab and glad hand hangers on the back of the cab too. it could have been doubled later in life, it has Hendrickson walking beam rear suspension ans has another tag on the door from 87 stating axle capacities and other info I cant remember
  13. I would love to upgrade the members, but the prices I'm see from the part number you posted, I cant afford right now. for now I would like to find to plates and re weld the members until I can afford to upgrade. at some point I would like to take the dump box off and run it as a tractor like it was originally. also would like to pull the frame rails apart and clean and seal in between them. I will still call watts and adams to get prices from them. thank you
  14. Thank you for the info. I will give them a call. I was hoping to find used parts for the time being, but have read about people upgrading the cross members. Right now it hauls silage on the farm 1 week a year, which is coming up soon. Pretty rough going through the fields with it. Here's the data tag on the door and a pic of the truck. Thank you again on edit, realize I left the s out on the first post in the rws
  15. 2 or 3 of the cross members on my 84 superliner are cracked. have been welded and cracked again. after owning the truck for a few months I realized the top plates of the crossmembers are M.I.A. so I am looking for at least 2 or 3 top plates for the cross members. truck is an 84 superliner, rws721lst. steel double frame, has the em9 in it if it makes a diff. no idea what trucks have compatible parts. let me know what you have, thanks

  18. 1926 MACK, BULL NOSE, MODEL AK, CHASSIS #822436 (HAVE ENGINE & PARTS) http://nwct.craigslist.org/bfs/5202354611.html picture in the add sells at auction this Saturday the 19th in Tunkhannock, PA 18657 stumbled upon this while searching craigslist, figured someone here would be interested
  19. yea i only want to fix mine once. my manifolds are fine but the sections going from the manifolds to the turbo are shot. i started pricing stainless tubing and elbows. they are spendy but not to bad. especially when I compare it to the price of the francis headers. if I do make a set they will be log style manifolds
  20. any idea on the wall thickness? I'm considering making a set my self, just have no shop to work in, will have to be done out side. I was thinking of using heavy duty stainless bellows or flex joints between each head and on each side of the turbo, all connected with vband clamps
  21. awesome. thank you sir, but what do they mean by light weight components? aluminum frame rails? right now it is doubled steel
