  1. I am going to shoot for the Muster in Jamesburg.... that looks like fun. Video of last year on Youtube.
  2. Ok, I measured it end to end, 26 feet, fits in my garage. Plenty of room. I went over how much work he put into it and 5 grand was good. Brakes are new and there was plenty of extras. The hard hoses were there, just on the inside left of the rear compartment. Looks like just some new wood and lead work. Paint will be last. So a handshake and a deposit was solid. Plus I like the look and would love to see this thing shine again. It was almost sold for scrap. I will contact the museum today. What sort of donation is amicable and they just need the numbers from the plate pictured above? Ok, thank you again for the help. I will keep you updated. And I will check out SPAAMFAA now. Here are pics of the engine and dash I took today...
  3. Is that the Mack Museum in Allentown? We have another in Basking Ridge... I should check out both. So! I thought it was a B.... And did not know it was that old! Would I be crazy to pay the 5 G's? Thanks for the info... I am glad I found this site.
  4. Hey everyone, I'm Mike. Been in the fire service about 22 years, now a HazMat Tech in NJ. I have the opportunity to buy an old firetruck, because as a fireman that likes classic cars, it seems like something we do. I don't know much about this, it is a Model 75, the seller says the hardtop is rare. It runs (small carb issue) and pumps. No hoses, looks like it will need seats, a gas tank, ummmmm paint! I can do most myself. I want to just take it to car shows. Water my lawn.... the usual. You guys prob know more about it, so please, any info would be appreciated. Year, rarity, maybe even history... Asking was $5,000. Seller paid $2,500 but has $$$ in it for storage, gas tank and other mechanical things (he is a mechanic). Thanks!
