welcome to BMT!!! wise ones.... you must have been reading Joey Mack talking about himself.. again. will you die trying to fix it? probably not. but make sure you have a very large supply of band aids and mercurochrome to staunch the bleeding from all the cuts you will inflict on your arms and hands. 🤣 please be patient, and someone much wiser than me at fixin these beauties will be along t help you. (i dont fix them, i drive and break them) -

i think my grand daughter has been spending too much time with me. the dog went outside and she was watching from the door. than i heard "pop pop, penny is slidin a biden" i think i may have to treat her to an extra scoop of ice cream. 🤣

Mack trucks were offered with cummins engines for many many years. so the only insult was suggesting the petercar or kennywhopper. although i will say the new T880 with 600 HP X15 cummins is a powerhouse!

Bob, that is called acupressure. same principle as acupuncture, but the therapist uses finger on the pressure points instead of needles stuck into them -
not an E9, but a 2001 E7 400.. if i let it idle it would "wet stack" something fierce. 20 minutes would leave the engine covered with oil from either #1 or #2 cylinder( i forget which one) exhaust manifold bolts. if i kicked idle up to over 900 RPM it would no longer wet stack

i have a better idea. we invent a time machine, than go back in time and give clintons, bidens, soros, harris, and obamas parent condoms with strict instructions that if they do not use them and produce offspring they will be thrown in a pit full of hungry lions.

you can run the 285 turbo on a 237, but it will run much better if you turn the fuel up a bit.

Yup, 6 reverse. Really freaks dump spotters out to see a dump truck coming at them 45 mph in reverse. -
Old company had a rod come out the block and take #2injector with it. New engine installed, and 10,000 miles later something inside broke and spit #2and#3 injectors off the block. Next new engine popped with less than 15,000 miles. Replacd driver with #4 engine and no more issues.
