    I had one ( similar ) 4.17s. mine wasn't very good on fuel and it was terrible as far as drivability.

    You'd almost have to cut a hole in your's and clean it. Problem is a only way to stop the chemical reaction is to completely seal the inside of it. That's almost imposible . That caustic acid is just gonna eat into the metal unless no air gets to it. and existing rust ???? hard to stop without access . Then even if you cut a hole, how would you seal where it's welded back together. And this is all if it can be done without getting hurt from burns or worse

    That LKQ probably has something. The Four States ine looks similar to the one in your picture but it's aluminum. ( SSo you caan buff it to high luster)

    I was just looking. They're on there. Looks like around a K for a brand new aluminum one (yikes) Your tank looks maybe like it's from a Fleetstar (?)

    Might be better off just replacing the tank. Used to see them advertised in all those magazines that used to come for free.

    Those in the picture JoeH posted look like they might be it. They're inboard brakes. No advantage to them as far as brake work goes. I'm thinking they may be the only way to get disc type wheels on 58s. I could be wrong though.

    Ya know F.... I had to stop watching. I had a feeling these guys were screwed . I wouldn't be surprised some other $h!t storm comes their way either. Maybe Chance needs to transition or something. Simple ideas that actually work not to mention unarguabley going the right direction just aren't goint to work . Even the animals don't allow the dumbest to rule.

    Might even be cheaper to change the bogie.

    This is an expensive change even if the stuff is still available. If I'm not mistaken it requires a hub change (obviously) along with different drive plates. There used to be a guy here with a Superliner with 58s, he had chrome Daytons on it. I remeber seeing Budds with 58s, not sure I ever saw hub pilots on them. Budds are kinda going backwards as far as a truck with 58s as they can't take the weight anyway.

    I searched VTI Mack. That's a good way to see pictures of lots of MHs. Never had given it a thought before, but they were a nice looking cabover.

    Could you imagine that when it was new Bob ? I bet someone could do something better than cut that one up.

    Exactly. It's purposeful and blends right in. Some of the "custom" stuff here ???? I don't get it.

    Funny thing , your trucks have protection around the windshield (s) and I'd imagine extended shifters because of raised cabs. Those things are functional and don't look silly . The low visor / high shifter floor dwellers ??? IDK to each their own, but I don't get it.

    Did you ever try to drive one of those ? I moved one once (moved it) I don't think I could actually drive something like that all day.
