Would have to agree with Mackdaddy. The 2011 thru 2013 Mack products are the best vehicles they have offered in years, maybe decades. Powerful, quiet, smooth, ergonomic, etc. I'll be very skeptical of a new family cab concept if it comes about. The CH series cab has refined into a very durable product for the daycab market. If the family cab rumors are true, vulva will be hard pressed to beat it.

I was surprised to hear that so I called Truck Enterprises in Harrisonburg. They didn't know they were giving any customers the perception that they should "stay away". Truck Enterprises are good people. So is Cooper Kenworth.
Harrisonburg of course is home to Truck & Equipment, a long-time Mack distributor. Bob Plecker was great to work with. Is his North & South lines still running?
The MX in Europe is selling well. It's rated up to 510hp there (485hp in the US). As its use ramps up in the US market, I think you'll see its a good engine.

thats funny because the kw dealer here cant fix them fast enough and they are telling there customers to stay away but im real sure its just our areaI couldn't possibly have a grudge against Mack Trucks, because the company no longer exists. I have a very serious distaste for Volvo, the Swedish company that acquired Mack Trucks and has since reduced it to being nothing more than a nameplate on a North American Volvo product.
The MX is a great engine. In Europe, they can run 44 (metric) tons (97,000 pounds) in regular over-the-road hauling. DAF's market share, under Paccar, has been growing and growing. I can assure you, the MX can do whatever you need. For most operations, while a 15-liter ISX might get you there 3 minutes earlier, the 12.9-liter MX and all 13-liter engines in general offer the best combination of power, torque and fuel economy (and obviously less engine weight) for greater productivity and profitability.

gentelmen i can say is if you allready have guns you better be gettin ammo for them..... because of what is going on in the unI do not know why so many people wanted " Hope and Change". I thought the U.S.A. was pretty good to me all my life. I went to public school for 12 years went to service for 4 years. I saved a few $ for down payment on truck when I got out in 1972. I had ups and downs like most people but worked hard as my wife did also. Built a new house raised 2 children sent tm to college they are doing well. We bought several new cars and trucks went on 8 cruises and vacations every year. For me I hope it never changes. I lived the American Dream for the most part. Joe D.

Why participate if unhappy? Is this just to provoke a response? Life, and the site goes on with all personality's and all are welcome. There are many more content and enjoy participating than unhappy here so I see no reason to "shake anything up".
You offer nothing tangible to work with in your response. I ask you to clarify you displeasure and instead you relay conflicting innuendos which I put forth.
I challenge you to offer something of substance to better the site for all concerned; so evaluation can commence.
This subject is not to cease with a "one better" response. I'd like an answer to work on a problem if one exists.
Rob dont change a thing everybody loves it vinny is a kid working on a mack we should encourge him just think about it rob when are gone when im gone what is going to happen to our trucks we need the kids ......

you just didSo you are stating you don't like the direction the site has taken?
We have humor, we have serious, we have derogatory, we have contemporary, and we have a mixture of nearly everything in between.
Please clarify your displeasure.

i like the r model i hope she did toCheck out what my wife Wendy got me for our upcoming 25th anniversary.
We've been looking for our own golfcart to take to the truck shows for awhile, tired of renting all the time.2 nites ago I stumbled across this one on the internet for sale, and it was only 2 1/2 hours away.I showed it to her, told her it was just what we needed.I called about it the next morning, told the seller I'd make arrangements to come look and call back. When I called him this afternoon,he said it was sold. So,when I got home about 4:30,Wendy tells me that she bought it and was going to hide it till next month and surprise me,but the seller was leaving for Florida in the morning and she couldn't find anyone on short notice to pick it up,so we went up and got it.She's all disappointed her surprise didn't work out the way she wanted, but it was a big surprise to me,anyway.Think I'll keep her for another 25 yrs. now.
Guess I shoulda known she was a keeper ,she still married me after I showed up at the church looking like this.
I did get forced into a tux later, though.

when you get done there you can come down to virgina im real easy to find right off 81 ive got all kinds of macks you can do that to r model with a 318 4 gmodels 2 f models dm wrecker cruiseliners come on down ill clean out a bay ....... keep up the good workOk, so, Papa and I went out today, took a few things off the cab then got the big air wrench out. Theres 4 bolts you need to take out. We broke 3. We had to cut 2 off, and the other broke. But, Papa got two 4 by 4's, cut them to 46 inches, then he stuck them into the cab so they fit snug in there. Then he got the tractor, put the forks on the bucket, then lifted the cab up just a little. Then, I got to drive Papas few month old Dodge pickup, and backed it up tord the Mack, put a strap on it, then Papa got in and pulled the rolling chassis ahead. Then we just pulled the cab right off with the tractor. I then got the job of cleaning all the rust off the fuel tanks, which was fun. I also pulled out the mats on the floor earlier. I have a ton of pictures, but Nana and Papas computer for some reason is slow and wont let me upload crap, but I'll keep trying for you guys.

thers nuthing finer than a v8 superlinerI would maybe go up to a 4.17. with the right trans you'll have good low end and that thing will run like a raped ape. There use to b an 84 Superliner for sale in Orlando,Fl area had extra doors. Price kept coming up out of my range. Had a 350 Mack and 13dbl over. Never looked at it. Reason I was looking was gonna start teaming with the Fiance and I couldn't do it in my current set up. Landstar wouldn't let us because I had to many axles. had to pull a flat or step and Wanted that or a Cabover.
