We have a 2009 Granite with a 10 speed manual transmission, it works 24/7 with 4 different drivers and all of them where complaining about it making a hard noise on 2 gear(low range) and shifting out of gear, finally one of our guys had and accident when going downhill fully loaded and he says it shifted out of gear, we had an OEM dealer mechanic check the transmission and the first thing he said was that it is impossible for this to happen yet I had 4 guys reporting the same issue for about 2 months, can anyone help me identify the problem?.
