What direction from Mcconnellesburg? I use to deliver to the Giant grocery store there. It's kinda an isolated town surrounded by mountains. What kind of suspension does that have? Torsion bar? My dad had a 69' w900 that had that, but I never seen it.

I just ran a die over my B's duplex and they are 7/16 coarse.

When I got my pa title off of a Vermont B.O.S.we put 73280 for gross combination. Mine is a single axle. And my title does use the whole #. Make sure you include a pencil etching of the vin tag. We put 3 etchings on 1 sheet of paper to make sure it was readable.

It is surprising how they handle. You saw the back roads I live on, and I also was surprised how nice mine drove around here @50-55 when I first brought it home.

Glad it's coming together. Sounds like there was buried treasures in both housings. What was the difference that the driveshaft needed shortened? Was it because my yoke was bolted to a flange?

Friday night I saw this engine parked on a siding in a parking lot. It was a train station many years ago but now it's a office building. I just thought it was a neat photo opportunity. Hopefully when my B is in the road i get the chance to do this with a steamer. That would be a really neat pic.

I don't think it will go for scrap. It will sit there a long time before that. His nephew listed it for him. I called and left a message. It didn't take to long for him to return my call. The cabs not perfect but it did seem pretty solid. Atleast to my standards. The axles and bearings where laying in the cab I didn't poke around very much. The trucks in the woods on the side of the mountain and I don't like snakes.

Yes I called. He used the truck I think until 2000 then sold it, but it got it back for lack of payment. The other guy took the hubs off to do brakes then somehow the hubs hot scrapped before this guy got it back.

I remember going to middle school in Treverton during the 90's when coal was still moving in the area. Every few minutes a R model would go buy with a load on its way to the Shamokin dam power plant. Jr's superliner is a new truck for him. His last one was a red and white IH transtar.

I'd like a nice set of useable doors for my 1963 b67. My side windows are both broke, and drivers door has alot of plastic smeared on it. Also a good set of front fenders would be nice too. Anybody bringing some to Hershey?

I would have like to go, but the way me and sales work together is stuff doubles in price when I'm there. That and I go to work Sunday night with 15 stops to deliver. Doing to much on a Sunday make a long night.

I'm kinda looking for a drivers door possibly both with good glass for my b67. With it being a concave cab are the doors different then standard cabs? Are all the B doors interchangeable?

The top of the stacks come off so it will fit out. It's only a 8' high door. When I backed it in there was about 3/4" clearance with flat steering tires.

Yes it is a concave cab. I kinda defeated the purpose of that, and the short hood. I've drove truck since 2001 and grew up with my dad owning his own kenworths. My knowledge with the old Mack's was very limited other then I always thought they where cool. My 2 sons are 6&8 yrs old. they both love working on the truck with me, some weeks progress is pretty slow but well worth it. I only remember 1 local farmer that used a B model all the coal buckets had updated to R models in the area. I'm trying to teach the boys about the old iron that built the country. the youngest has a farmall H and the oldest has a John deere B. The goal with the mack is to haul the tractors, and I keep telling the wife I'm taking her on a date with it. 1 year ago on thursday I brought home my first truck. It's a 1963 b67 T. I've spent countless hours reading and rereading posts learning priceless info. I'm sure some of you will be upset with my changes, but I also read where others have said its your truck do with it as you please. So far I've stretched the wheelbase to 196" and installed a freightliner air ride cutoff. I built custom stack mounts and a rear bumper / trailer hitch. To pull either a gooseneck or bumper pull. I mounted a signal 100 gallon aluminum fuel tank, pete cab steps, 36" saddle box, 12 volt starter and a deck plate with a toolbox between the frame rails. Currently I'm mounting rear fenders and putting off doing a re-wire and plumbing job on truck. Just thought Id say thanks for the priceless info I've learned and share a few pics of my progresss.

I've used high temp exhaust header wrap on antique tractors, but it was a burlap color. ---I just checked on ebay and there is black avalible now.
