  1. looks like they mounted the wet line tank behind the cab they should have enough space over there for a 75gal tank at least. unfortunalty D style and square tanks are starting to make more sense
  2. sounds like he has a 460 but the ecm took a dump?
  3. 4.64 on tall 24.5 and a mack 13 should be a 72mph truck at 2000rpms?
  4. more than likely set up with 4.42 or 4.64 s ? should be a pulling machine but not a speed demon up big hills with that much gross
  5. would not 315 22.5 floats do you more good than 11r 24.5?
  6. my 01 427 has been good 98 was first year of the etechs I think. should do your job especially if you got gears
  7. you can get a chu little under 230 wb if you play with tank size and sleeper size. Canada has weird wb laws for sure those Pete 379 and 389 up there set up on 244" wb look terrible
  8. I think what you would pulling will dictate your fuel mileage more than the hood doubt if there is a huge diffrence and the price is the same for either anymore
  9. make sure its not the return line leaking my 01 done same thing leaked same spot not as bad as yours. losing prime for start up is a tell tell for sure
  10. one would think 11 years down the road its had all the updates and troublesome turbo's and such replaced under warrnty.
  11. 4.42 or 4.64 especially if your on 24.5 tall 417's your going to want short rubber
  12. I tried to get the file a couple years ago threw my dealer corp. said no due to emmisions and liability issues however if you could find a truck or ecm with the file in it dealer can burn a copy and up load it
  13. there is aftermarket programing and add on module available up to 125hp. trying to get a hot file from Mack here in the states could be tough to do.
  14. why not spec 3.56 Mack rears with lockers instead of Meritors or eaton's? add to much to sticker or to heavy?
  15. is the truck actually boiling over I have seen faulty temp. sensors do this to
  16. all mack it would come down to if the dealer fusses over what drive shaft u joints and clutch is in it but they should at the min. bump it 445 or 455 a good shop foreman should be able with the vin. tell you exactly what Mack will let them bump it to may take a couple days for Mack to get back with them
  17. pre scr would they load 445 file or 455 file a 425 is 1560lb or torque were as the upgrades are 1760lb of torque so you would be able to tell a differance.
  18. motor should up rate to 445 it would depend on clutch driveline and trans. ratings if a dealership would do it or not
  19. something tells me its more like bulk hauler specs 380 with a single stick 6spd. which depending on the rear ratio isn't totally bad just kind takes you back to the 5 spd and 3.87 gears and 300 mack days
  20. I have never seen a set forward CL series you could get the CL hood on a CH CH 713 set back had one many moons ago
  21. bet the dealer is glad they didn't bet it cost 30k or better
  22. I would rather have the Mack diffs the cross lock option is really nice in mud and snow. I was pricing on this summer there was not much of a price diffrence between the mack 13 and the fuller 18.
  23. they have a adjustable programmer to. for about the same amount of money as the tune 30-120hp
  24. I always put the rock guards on our Rs looks good and not that high
