Needed a bigger dump ttuck that won't get wagged around by my equipment trailer like my one ton chevy. I'm too cheap to just go out and buy one already put together so I'm putting this together as time allows.
  2. Just got this one, more space but will need to come up with ramps for it
  3. I had 2 B67s with driver side single tank and step on passenger side

Same setup I used on my panel. Plus mounted a generator
  6. I'm 6'6" 235lbs I used a b67 concave cab when I built my pickup. Once I figured out how to get in and out I was ok but I do look like Magilla gorilla in there.

If you don't want a transfer switch you can use a sliding interlock on the front of the panel that prevents the main and the 30amp generator breakers to be on at the same time. This way you choose what circuits you want to use. The manual transfer switches limit you to 6 or 8 predetermined circuits. Stopped in Harbor Freight today and they had predator generators non inverter types for 40 percent off clearance. I grabbed a 3500 watt for $281 to have as a spare for work. Couldn't pass that up for that price.

The Hobo Freight inverter generators are real quiet. I've got the 8750 watt which runs at 1800 rpm unless you put heavy load on then it kicks up. Even then it's a lot quieter than my old generator
  9. Party of four from here heading there Thursday
  10. You're doing the right thing as far as I can see. You'll end up with something that will be used and enjoyed instead of a fifty thousand dollar restoration that will be worth 25k when done. You can spend years looking for non existent parts and not get anywhere. My b model on a chevy 3/4 ton chassis is my daily driver in the spring summer and early fall.
  11. That building is still there. I go up and down that street all the time. If anyone is familiar with George's truck repair and heavy towing its about 50 feet to the left of the railroad tracks.

New England sucks weatherwise, if I had a time machine I would go back and slap my grandparents around for settling in the people's republic of Massachusetts instead of someplace like the Carolinas
