Ended up pulling Trans and rebuilding. It was that or pull hoist and box as its a dump truck. Thanks for replies.

Hello everyone. I recently lost my low range. I pulled both rear inspection covers and had someone split gears while I looked inside. Looks like shift fork is moving but not fully engaging. I tried to help it with a pry bar with no luck. It almost seems like fork is holding it back. I thought maybe bolt on fork came loose but figured if that were the case I could have manually pushed it back. I haven't pulled the rear top cover yet as it is very tight between cab. How far does cover have to come up to get out? Is there something that would limit movement on top cover? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Justin
