  1. Hey, that's one of our wraparound stetson truckers there.... true Canadians..!!!!

ironically his brother truckers went on strike on the west coast recently holding some interesting signs... :whistling:

    BC Mack

Ok BC that was photo-shoped right??? I don't believe that.

Are you behind this other dog?

  2. Saw another yesterday on the 407 (he's was going east, I was going west).....again, pulling an empty low boy, door said "A & G"......

Was it blue with a white hood?

Thats A&G out of Bolton. They do a lot of snowplowing. They have a large Mack fleet. All newer stuff now. Most contracts require new equipment.

They had some cool DM's with plows, would imagine they are gone now.

    Here they are on youtube

  3. I can just picture the people you were dealing with. Probably didn't give a rats ass about one of their surviving trailers....all they would be interested in is what the cake would look like at the anniversary party.

Seems to be a lot of people around like that these days

  4. and they also pretreat the salt with products like ice bite that will melt ice at almost -30 celcius ……..that really helps to rot stuff. Quicker!!!

After last winter it looks like I had battery acid sprayed on the rear ends .

  5. That is very scary stuff !!! I have been complaining a lot lately about the rain we have been getting. Not huge amounts , but usually when I don't want it.

I will stop complaining now………………We will hope and pray for everyones safety out there.

  6. Ok so we r thinking its about 8-9 gallons?

I think you are in the ballpark - 34 quarts is 32 litres. That is what I always used to put in, but it would be a little over the full mark. Now I do 30 and check .

Unless you have a big oil pan - then I can't help.

All 3 of mine - even the 237 in my 85 take the same amount of oil.

  7. This may not be strait forward either but….. When I change the oil in my E6, I always put 30 litres (7.92 US gallons) back in. Thats including the oil in the filters.

I can't say for sure that is the exact amount. I put oil from a 5 gal can into a smaller container then into the truck. So there is some guessing involved... And if it is a Fri. or Sat. night there might be some alcohol involved.

I based my us gal on….. 1 us gallon is 3.79 litres
