  5. One of Chicago's oldest trucking companys went out of buisness 2 weeks ago. Brodreck Teaming was est. in 1890 and closed up after 119 years!!! In Macks book Driven For a Century, There is a photo of an EQ six wheeler owned by Brodreck Teaming. Last year on E-bay I bought a photo of a early AC Mack with a narrow cab for hauling over lenght steel, that was one of Brodrecks trucks parked in front of their old building on Sheilds ave drown the street from Sox park. Not many old companys left, end of an era!!!!!
  6. Does any one no what it would cost to have a cranshaft cut and to replace the number one pushrod replaced on a 1989 mack E6 4 valve 350. Motor is in a Superliner that is pretty cherry!! A freind ones the truck and says he would sell it to me for $3500.00 Thanks for any in put, Mike.
  7. AC bulldog fans check out ebay.A guy in New Hampshire has an running unrestored AC that belonged to Dunn Coal Co. in Chicago. Still painted red and lettered Dunn. Looks the same as it did when it was retiered. Dunn used AC & AB's in Chicago until the 1960s. Sure would be ashame if it got restored, has a lot of charecter in its condition.
  8. That B-model is owned by Shaffer Towing out of Springfeild,IL. They have an entire fleet of B-model towtrucks with updated motors and running gear.
