    Perfect It works thanks Joe Thats my Grandfather on the dozer loading what I'm pretty sure is a Burma Dodge, either that or ex Army EH Mack with some more civilian type cab Here is my Grandfathers EH Mack The family always said it was a NR Mack but thanks tp the forum I am 100% sure that's incorrect and it is a ex Army EH Mack Paul

    Joe I have no idea, I haven't changed anything, still using the same old computer but the forum has up graded over the years and I think perhaps something isnt compatible anymore Oddly enough I can still post photos in the gallery but not on the forum Paul

    Zetor isn't Russian, it's Czechoslovakian, different country all together They were always a very clean running motor in the 70's compared to most other brands They ran a lot cleaner than the US IH of the day and into the 80's and even the John Deere's so I feel they would have it well under control today Paul

    Thanks for the reply but that dohicky doesn't seem to be on my screen anymore, it used to be there for years I still use the same computer and it even used to work on the phone once I reduced the pixel thingo I had thread started here about something completely different but I couldn't even delete it once I worked out it wasn't working right, pretty sure I could delete threads in the past if I posted in the wrong spot or something Dunno Paul

    That's how my screen used to be Swishman but all I get now is "Insert image from ULR" on the lower rhs Dunno I have tried on the phone and on the computer but no luck with either It used to say my attachments was full or some such thing, now this Either way I'm buggered if I know Paul

    I cant seem to work out how to post photo's anymore ????? I can see insert image from URL, that will only work if I have loaded the photo on another site that everyone has access to I cant use facebook because if people dont have facebook then they cant see them, I had/have photo bucket but its useless these days and is about as useful as a ashtray on a motorbike So how do we load photo's to the forum these days ????? Paul

    Well Im buggered if I know how to attach pictures anymore A real shame to me but I cant find anyway to load up photo's so the story is pretty pointless with out picks and I cant seem to delete the thread so I guess I will give this posting photos a miss till the forum gets sorted I have asked about photo posting and how its done these days but have had no replies So sorry to all I just type replies to peoples questions till I work it out again

    I want to Mrs Mack and the Princess to Newzealnd for 12 months or so in the next couple of years And I have also mentioned the idea of putting Mrs Mack on the boat to the US and Canada for a couple of years The Princess hasnt said no, then again she hasnt exactly said yes either lol But it NZ is doable as is the US, not sure about driving in the US with a RHD truck though Paul

    Yes it's a great video, only one correction for Doug Mack just didnt shape America it shaped the world even in countries they never sold trucks in Mack changed Mack set bench marks on reliability and performance that other manufacturers around the world had to try and match Are the trucks in the museum owned by the museum or on loan, would be great to come over and have a look one day Paul

    Sorry I tried to load a comment yesterday The photo is from the Mack Australia facebook page so shifted across for all to enjoy, even those without facebook Caption from the photo bellow #ThrowbackThursday to 1966 where this hardworking B61T Mack is ploughing through the bulldust near Surat in South Central Queensland. Bull dust on dirt roads was very common until the beef roads scheme in 70's started The dirt gets that pulverized it goes like talcum powder and feels like your driving thru deep water as pulls you from side to side Lots of speed is required and on long sections it is some times required to hook road trains together with "stiff bars" or towing poles to push and pull each other thru I haven't had Mrs Mack in bull dust like that in over ten years, its very hard on the truck, the driver and the load I will drive a few extra hundred miles around the road than push thru bull dust for miles Paul

    Dunno, I have haf drama posting pics for a long time Tells me I have exceeded my storage space or some such thing I cant work out how to delete photos to make more space so I just gave up.in the end Paul

    I think the biggest to change that I can observe is unless something is in it for them most people arent interested, both young and old the same I feel in Australia these days Were as the men that went off to fight in WW2 and earlier wars just did what had to be done for the good of all You rarely if ever see that anymore People will say that will still have young men and women in our defence forces and emergency services but they arent the ones Im talking about The men Im talking about put their country and the world first with out having to be asked and went off to the other side of the world to right a wrong and left families and loved ones behind to perhaps never see them again I feel it wasnt done for money or glory or anything like that, rather it was the right thing to be done and they just did what was right Paul
