Both ptos are engaged at times but not always. We talked to a guy who said we need to look into the range cylinder on the back of trans. I guess we'll just take it in. Thanks for the replies.

The only reason I didn't think it was a pto problem is because it actually has 2 winches and 2 pto's. It acts up with both winches. I should have stated that earlier. They are also air operated.

I'm not sure the correct term, but does anyone know much about it. (I'm referring to the added piece on trans.) We have one on a winch truck. Whenever used it sometimes binds up, other times sounds like something isn't engaged all the way, and sometimes works great. When it binds or doesn't engage all of the way, I can clutch it and flip the button back and forth and get it to work right. Is there any adjustment on it or anything simple it could be.

I have a 2014 gu713 with the mp8. Last week the truck was running fine. I got the check fuel filter message while coming in to yard. I changed filters everything seems good. Next day check engine light and fuel restriction message and fuel filter light comes back on, it wouldn't make it to 40 mph empty, while surging pretty bad. Changed filters again and blew out the cooler plate. Filter and restriction messages went away but cel is still on. Truck still can't make it to highway speed and surges bad. Any ideas what else it could be? It starts and idles fine.

They are claiming something shorted out on the throttle and something else and those shorted out the fan clutch. I don't buy it. Does that sound feasible to any of you?

Our 2014 mp8 is running hot again. It looks like it will get its 4th fan clutch. Is there a better option than the borg warner junk that keeps failing?

It only has 40000 miles on it. That shouldn't be enough miles for any problems. I'm going to call again in the morning and make sure they have checked those things. After reading the water pumo pressure comment, I remember a few times under acceleration I would hear a squealing sound. Now I wonder if it has something to do with the water pump or fan maybe locking up. Thanks guys. I will post updates.

First post here. I've been reading for awhile soaking up information. Now I have a question. I drive a 2014 gu713 with a mp8 505. It started getting hot with any load behind it. Running empty it'll run 205 degrees give or take but put any load behind it and it'll get hot enough to shut down if I keep my foot in it. Its been in the shop since monday and they are at a loss. It runs great otherwise. Have you guys experienced this or have a place to start?
