Here is a video shot of the Mack’s rolling out IMG_6841.mp4 IMG_6895.MOV -
I should be noted that in 2020 the population of Japan was 125.8 million. So this is roughly 1 in 6, and this will force a huge change

Yes the four legged animal Look up Kentucky derby, probably not at that level. we had two major tracks in our local area and one closed and is now Sofi Stadium home of the Rams football team betting is a major part of horse racing and with off track betting the attendance at each track has declined -

Bob you don’t by any chance have any more information about that truck or a photo, I know it’s a long shot but I am always curious about the history on a truck -

This is the first Mack I have dealt with that did not have any means to tow it in the front bumper so I had to change the hooks on one of my chains from grab hooks to slip hooks so i could use it as a bridal on the front axle I also found out some more history on this truck the previous owner used it to haul race horse’s and sold it when they downsized due to age -

What is the going rate in your area? there will always be guys working cheaply, for wages only still thinking like they are an employee, but how long will they survive and what will happen to them if and when something goes sideways i would raise the rate or start charging them for all the little stuff and add a fuel surcharge, if you are mobile you need to work smarter, not harder

It looks like a standard 8 x 5 3/8” rim for a 16” lawn tractor front tire What is the spindle diameter and length and is it centered or offset in the rim
-

I worked on the truck today getting it ready to move to my place next weekend. I aired up the tires and tried to charge the air system but the foot valve has a huge air leak so I had to cage the brakes and they were a little stubborn from sitting since 2007. I will need to replace the foot valve and probably also the pedal since it is seized, as is the throttle pedal. does anyone have the Mack part numbers? I suspect the throttle is Mack specific and the foot valve and pedal may be Bendix -

A 350, great I need more power so I am not climbing the passes in the slow lane. I used to run with the military vehicle group but got kicked out because I drove to fast and all I did was fix everything so it was factory new so I could cruise at a comfortable speed. at least the ATHS guys travel at 55+ in CA -

You probably mean bottom dump trailers. You also see a lot of them hauling hay and in the ag sector not to mention LTL -

It looks like “O & SONS” the truck has been in Southern California for at least 25 years the interior has had animals living inside so it will be gutted i need to deal with the seized throttle pedal and brake pedal. the clutch feels real stiff The ignition switch is out and there are several air valves laying in the cab and one is missing the instrument panel bezel is missing, the battery box covers are not on the truck it will need a new drivers door it has a NTC335, 13 speed, 4.10 gears and 24.5 wheels -

R Model Firewall insulation
Quickfarms replied to jackdk's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
I did the inside of the cab on my latest project a 1989 F800 with lizard skin and then quiet ride and the combination is great my only concern is with water leaks since both of my Mack’s have small drips and the quiet ride insulation will absorb water -
Also did the speedometer gear box, get changed or forgotten? the speedometer on my 1975 did not work until I removed this from the side of the trans and found the drive tang was broken
-
45 colt would be correct
-
I emptied the tank today and replaced the valve with a NOS valve, all this for a stupid o ring that you can’t replace when there is fuel in the tank
-
Can you replace just the shaft seal? I have one that drips and I would rather just replace the seal than draining the tank and replacing the entire valve.

newby here. question about suspensions
Quickfarms replied to sodbuster59's topic in Modern Mack Truck General Discussion
What suspension is in the internationals and the Mack? each truck has multiple options that are picked when it was ordered. Also just because it was built with one suspension does not mean that is what is on it now. -
How did the install go and what is the part number for the cruse control
