    The valves were adjusted a while back, it seemed to help, but not much. There is no turbo leaks, throttle linkage/cable all tight. It reaches governd speed with no load on the engine, 1900 rpm. I will be installing a boost gauge to get a reading. The company this truck came from was known for having the most gutless marks around.

    Looking to get a little more power out of our '86 superliner (4v) it runs ok but our 300's can out pull it. The anti-puff has been disabled,the pump has been rebuilt. I don't want to shorten it's life span, and also not so concerned with mileage on this one. Does anyone know what injectors, turbo to use, how about pump settings, and timing? Any help would be great.

    Sounds like a good truck, I have one with similar specs and we love it. Comparing r models to ch's is like comparing two favors of ice cream, you can love them both, but for different reasons.

    I have an '87 value liner with a really nice hood, a friend of mine has an 89 R-686, he was wondering if it would fit his truck. I told him I didn't think it would, but could it be made to fit? I realize the hinges are different. Has any one done this?

    Are these what they called 34,000lbs or 38,000? How much are you asking? How many miles did this truck have on it? Could shipping be arranged to North Dakota? Or maybe I'm better off to buy them new at my dealer.

    I know there has been a lot of talk about these, I was just curious if anyone ever started reproducing them. A few years back I saw Barry had looked into getting some made, wondering what the likelihood of that ever happening? I would even settle for something a little inferior to the original.

    On my '59 I have a Muncie pt-38 fr-c3 it hangs on the left side. It was used to run a dump box, not sure of rpm's. Hope this helps. If you are wondering if yours if right or not, use silly putty to get an impression of your trans gear and compare it to your pto gear, maybe it needs to be shimed out.

    Kinda sounds like your ride height might be a little out of adjustment. How far up is the rear off the bellows? Or is your front axle springs staged out from too much wieght up front?

    A friend of mine has an '87 e-6 350 that leaks oil around the tach drive. He has been to the dealer and they didn't seem to think parts were available. Does anyone know a part number or a source to get one?
