Silver Mack Bostrom 915 came out of a 1996 CL Elite. Back cover good condition, cushion cover wore. Good armrests and good seat frame.
Red, Bostrom 715E seat cover, came out of 1990 CH. Back and cushion cover excellent. Have rods and red vinyl filler pieces too. All excellent. Also 715e frame with armrests. Excellent shape. Also have RED armrests for Bostrom 915 seat.
$250 for red 715 cover

The MP engines are bulletproof....except the injectors. The bottom end is probably the best. As for emissions issues, well, they're like everybody else.

I am guilty of never clutching unless coming out of lo hole. We ran lots of 18 speed macks and they're very reliable. Syncros last around 600,000 miles for us but that's lots of shifting as they're route trucks for milk pickup. Typically a million miles is 40,000 hours.

Run 15w40 Rotella. I think my last refill was $15/gal bulk. I always change oil every 10,000 and never had any issues with oil burning or wear. 1,000,000+ miles on original bearings. I've always got mack filters because by the case they were cheaper than vendor filters.

Wow, guys!
Many thanks for all the wishes!
April seems good for birthdays indeed.
I even feel ashamed I didn't make any pics along the time to share as Tommy did. He's a professional though and I'm not competitive enough
Had my parents visited me for barbequeing and observing the "state of disaster" of my truck collection. Than had a nice time in a restaurant in the evening accomanied by a nice and pleasant person of oppisite sex I should probably say sorry for replying on the next day only since the evening turned out getting toooo looong into the night
Hope you crushed it, Vlad! 👊

Do an oil analysis. Check for fuel in oil too.

Do you happen to have a part number for the spinner filter on E6? Just got a MH cabover and it has a deep 13inch 51qt oil pan that has a small crack so am thinking about swapping in the shallower 9 inch 34 qt pan that is off a nearby for parts E6 and apparently the shallower pan uses this spinner filter
Did u find what you need? Otherwise I can give you a vin for my ch with an e6. I believe you'd need the filter tree

That would have been pretty sweet. They are pretty rare.

I always wanted one of those ford 9n's with the Funk repower flathead v8 kit.

As time goes more and more people will choose EV's but some never will
I reckon the same thing would of happened when motor cars replaced the horse
I dont reckon we should force anyone to change at all
If these are all they are made out to be we will choose them anyway
Paul
Actually Motor cars replaced electric cars! If history keeps repeating itself, we are gonna be riding horses again!

That grille is from a newer set forward ch/pinnacle. If u look close there's a bug screen snapped over the top of it too. The stainless surround is aftermarket. All the ch/ch grilles are the same. You could order them all with different styles. You could get "MACK" in the center in big letters, you could get "Mack delete" and you could also get them with the elite badge in the corner. The same from 1989 to 2010+

When you first start it up are the cab air bags deflated? Where the harness comes through the firewall for the shutdown system it can rub through. When your cab is down it pulls harder on the wires, same as with hitting bumps.

Just be careful, my old rd had the screen and it had a small c channel stiffener on the back and that would rub through the condenser.

Try some good plum pudding, that'll put some lead in your pencil and also has the possibility to make you some coin

Broken centering pin on your z leaf. Easily fixed. Could be groken z leaves too. Get new u bolts, center pins, and spacer blocks. Be sure to put spacer blocks in the right way, there is a front and back. They will tapered. They set your axle angle. Always make sure your u bolts stay tight.

They are both 85 r models. Im not sure about a direct swap though. my current set are an ss34 in the rear and an ss38 front factory original.
Everything I looked at says 34's have a bigger bearing than the 38's but funny enough mine are some weird bearing in between big and small.
If it were easy everybody would do it. Heck i'm still hunting a front crossmember to put an e7 in it! I can't even find a picture of one.
You won't need a front cross member, just the E7 motor mount. If you are able to find a parts man that gives a shit they can look up someone's vin from an r with an E7

Somebody would knock you out to steal that grille. Most are busted. Doors are same as a CH cab. The rest will go forever.
