  1. sorry, been busy. the problem was at the connectors at the guage circuit boards where the harness plugs in
  2. all but fuel guage, still working on it, sometimes it works sometimes not. up to this year it always worked perfect but it sits all winter
  3. MHfred thats the same place i traced mine down to
  4. thanks that should help me locate the terminal , i just didnt want to tear the whole dash apart to find it. once i find it i can test it there to see if that is it or proceed to the circuit boards.
  5. with a multimeter across the voltmeter terminals i only got 10v but if i take the ground lead to the frame i have 12.5v so i know i got a bad ground. the ground wire from the frame up to the cab is about a 6 guage wire which would make me believe it junctions in the cab somewhere to the other circuits. i have had an instance where the left turn signal had back feed to the warning lamps on the left guage panel which would make me think it was looking for a ground
  6. yea i know and im positive its the ground just need to find where the ground wire connects to all the cab wires and clean it or see if it vibrated loose
  7. volt meter and fuel guage are reading very low. checked voltage at volt guage and was ok but the ground side was low. the ground wire from the frame up to the cab was ok so figured was getting a bad connection at the junction terminal in the cab
  8. does anyone know where the ground junction in the dash is on a 1989 mh before i have to start tearing it all apart
