The only thing missing is the shiny brass pole.

My B-61 (diesel) was sold new in Atlanta. It has shutters and no thermostat. It runs mostly with shutters closed except really hot weather.

I just had my 673 pump gone through which included cleaning, replacing O rings and a cracked line fitting. They did it on the truck. The cost was $1300 which I didn't think was too bad. The shop is located in norther VA. I would have said "yikes" to $3500 too.

Lots of Diamond T's.

That's a fine looking couple with a great story. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Good luck and take antibiotics.
Ditto.

Mine's a S/A B 61 with bias ply and I run 45# and still get a rough ride. I'm wondering how much better a tubeless radial would be.

That Diamond T rollback is sharp. I wonder what kind of power?

Great pictures. With all the work and effort no wonder they look so good.

I hope to make it down on Sat morning.

There is a gap between the the headliner and roof. Good old duck tape will hold the pieces together but doesn't give enough support to correct a sag.
-
That hurts just to look at. Sounds like you have the right tonic for pain. Get well quick.

Looks like something from "Highway Thru Hell".

Why did you take it out and why would someone have the "make it work"?. Is there a problem with the repro's?.
I replaced the repro with a factory NOS one. The repro headliner is done in three pieces and sags where the side pieces meet the center section after awhile. There are no attachment points in the cab roof. The factory liner is much stiffer and in one piece.

Anyone have pattern for the B model headliner? $800 for a piece of cardboard is a little steep for my pocket. I'll try and make one for that kind of dough.
I have one of the repro headliners that was taken out of my B-61. You might be able to make it work or at least use as a pattern. Be glad send it for the shipping.

I was able to find a replacement switch at the local truck parts store. As far as the missing wire you can use any hot connection for a lead to the switch.

Looks like this one sold for $39900 which includes bidders fee. Not sure how much Hemmings charges.

I forgot to mention, not mine I just happened onto it while mining Hemmings.

That's what I remember. I think he was in the process of selling and moving trucks and equipment. He had lots of stuff.
