  1. http://www.reedysdiesel.com/ Never checked mpg. Sometimes you have sacrifice power for mpg. Where I run, it's nothing but hills and valleys. It did increase my egt's and water temps, but still in the safe range. Where you live it is for sure hotter but you don't have the hills to climb (except for overpasses, LOL)
  2. I have a 2000 Rd with a 400hp stock motor. Added super flow injectors (90 hp increase) and only changed the turbo to a 427 (which you already have) giving me around 490 with no other changes. Very few tri-axles around can run with it. My mileage is a lot lower, about 300,000. A friend has a 525 Cat and one day I was running with him and I out pulled him on a long hill. So either mine runs better or his runs weaker.
  3. I got the power steering pump from that Magnum. I saw many E9 engine parts on Ebay years ago and called about that truck. They said it came in whole and went out in MANY parts.
  4. A friend of mine has a 2003 Granite. I thought the Legend was in 2004 and the Granite was brought in mid run of the Legend. Anyone know if the two over lapped?
  5. I'm running about the same HP. I put a aluminum core radiator and switched ELC for coolant. No problems with over heating.
  6. I also have a B42 that was repowered without the rears being changed. I think it has 7. ?? gears. Slower than slow. Maybe that's why it only has 89,000 miles on it. No one wanted to drive it. LOL
  7. The wheels are made by Enkei. I liked them because they looked like the Centerline wheels of old days.
  8. My 1969 GTO Judge I bought in 1979 when I was in high school. Paid $200.00 ( had a hard time getting that) I did a frame off about 20 years ago. 68,000 miles. Ram Air III, 4 speed.
  9. Check to make sure the engine brake solenoid is not hanging up on that head.
  10. As far as the ticking sound, make sure to check the base manifold for the turbo (not the turbo). They are noted to crack on the back side facing the firewall.
  11. Reminds me a time I got stopped at the scales. The two officers were arguing over the color of my eyes. My license stated they were BROWN. One said " No they are BLUE. They other said "they are GREEN" But clearly they were "RED" LOL Clearly you will get a different answer with everyone you ask.
  12. Saturday is the biggest day. Trucks don't start leaving until afternoon. They hit around 610 trucks right before lunch last year.
  13. I'll be there Saturday. Superliner with B755 in tow.
  14. What did you start with? My 2000 Rd was a 400. I installed super flow injectors and changed to a 427 turbo. Running 490Hp.
  15. Jeff, the pump you have for a 864 would fit with the 864 gear, but is the tank big enough for the garrison set up? Is that why you went with your set up? I have a spare tank off a superliner like the one you have on yours, but what pump would I need to get that fits on a 864 and works with a separate tank? Are the garrison set ups available new?
  16. I have cases of Mack decanters to sell. By the case or single. Unused, never filled. I will bring a opened case to Macungie with me but if anyone is interested in a full case, let me know and i will bring it along. $20.00 each and $200.00 for a case of 12. Mike 570-436-1600
  17. It sounds like the way to go. Send me some pictures when you get a chance. Thanks.
  18. Jeff, Is the direct drive pump the same as the one on the E9? Looks like it mounts the same way.
  19. What brand fluid assist is on your B75? Did you install it or was it already on? I don't know how hard it would be to find a set up off of a early Superliner. Anyone got one they want to part with? I have lots of parts to trade if needed.
  20. I want to put power steering on my B755 since it has a long wheel base and hard to turn around. I was told no B755's had power steering because there was no room for a power box with the V8. Has anyone used a different set up? I don't like air assist. Someone told me they saw one with a Superliner I mounted on the front axle. Has anyone here tried it? Need some input on what to try.
  21. When I couldn't find my leak, I blocked the inlet side of the turbo with a rubber gasket and clamped a steel plate to it. Removed the rockers that held any valves open, and pressurized the entire system. That way you know all connections are not leaking. My leak was a valve seat ready to let go. Dodged a bullet. Dale also did my turbo, pump was turned up by someone else, injectors are stock and I get 40 pounds of boost.
  22. I have all the B-models in 1/25 scale, also have all the B's in 1/34 dumps, dump trailers, and all the lowboys.
