  1. I have the windshield and the rear window seal, PM me. NEK
  2. I started with paint thinner , a little #1 and#2 fuel and what ever else ends up in there. Doesn't have the offensive odor of the commercial solvents. This is a shop built unit about 30 gals. and the pump is a foot from the bottom, never changed the solvent in 20 years, cleaned the sludge out once. My .02
  3. I have seeen glass on very late trucks, I thought the plastic were replacements. Shutter change 1964.
  4. What you have there is an early style rely valve, used on long wheelbase trucks to lesson the dely action to the service brakes. Late 60's trucks didn't have factory spring brakes, very simple air plumbing. NEK
  5. Putting sealant on the cover bolts should solve the problem.
  6. I consider Brockway a part of Mack. The design and styling of the Superliner came from Brockway. FW
  7. Stay with the second generation, steering setup, radiator support, and hood attachment are problem areas on the first generation. F W
  8. I have the rubber seal you need, it is unique to the concave cab. Neil
  9. You have sticking plunger you can unstick without removing the injector, but if it is scored it will stick again. You are going to have a very serious problem if raw fuel drips into the cylinder and you crank the engine, use the compression release. I wouldn't do anything else without first checking the injector. fifth wheel
  10. The cab is about 2 inches higher off the frame on on the models with the aluminum radiator, verses the tin shell. I have seen it done, aluminum radiator on a B 61, the hood slopes upto the radiator. FW
  11. A small amount of water in a tire will cause it to bounce at high speed go away then bounce again. It took 80K miles for me to discover water in them, new drives no more hop.
  12. I think the only one with oil cooled pistons is the ENDT 673 C (250 hp)
  13. CML Service, Seller, A+ Fuel tanks,& batttery boxes, We met 1/2 way at the local truck show another good transaction,
  14. Bought some parts, very helpful, and nice guy to deal with. Thanks again
  15. Those look like spokes for single tires (floatation). Is or was your truck a tri-axle drive, I think Mack made some.
  16. Applications where the engine is supported at the flywheel housing, there are two 5/8 studs at about the 11 and 1 0clock positions. You could try the B model hangars and brackets, they might not fit because the B frame widens and I think the fire truck frame is straight thru. I would just bolt it up.
  17. bowtiebulldog seller steering box positive +++ everthing went well on this one patience pays off
  18. PBean seller Item fuel tank Date 1/06 Positive +++ No problems shipping to me Parts as described, very pleased.
  19. Fred, a freind of mine always said "the trucks are cheap and they come apart easy" . A ps box off a Ford L/LN will work, but it's not Mack. NEK
