thanks, they've got some nice looking B-models there. Might be like the place mine came from, just didn't want to run equipment that old and parked them and put them up for sale. Look like they're in good shape.

Actually, I painted my '71 Ford F-100 pickup in the driveway once with a brush and red implement paint from the hardware store...yeah, you're right - nevermind. One more coat though, and it might have been a different story I drive a Peterbilt. Totes tha' mail too!

Every time I think i've got it all figured out... back before AC was invented, i'd be riding along with the window down and my arm hanging out-left arm stayed brown in summer,right one was white-anyway,I got popped by bees or wasps a couple of times myself,once in the neck and once under my arm-very painful.You wouldn't want one of them monsters to get stung, who knows how much extra pressure they could stand from a bee sting- the ensuing explosion could be catastrophic. We may need more testing

I've been pondering this situation, and came up with an easier way-just remove the windshield, and she can lay them out on the hood. Put some padding around the bottom edge first-and wear your goggles.

you'd probably have to get another cab with an integral sleeper, remove the bunk, relocate the seat,steering column,all the pedals to the back of the sleeper compartment, or she wouldn't fit. Lots of work.

Guess I should catch up a little. I went to Chesapeake Monday and came back up to Petersburg and loaded another load for Roxana,Il. Delivered there Tuesday evening and loaded in Pittsboro, In. Wednesday morning for Petersburg, Va. Hit snow in Charleston, W.V. coming back, but the turnpike was pretty clear. When I got off on 64 east at Beckley it was a different story. Completely covered. I waited on top of Sandstone mountain for a couple of hours, hoping the snow would stop...and a plow truck would come by. I think there was one truck working the mountain, and it's 5 miles down it, 7%. I got caught in the snow a couple of times there last winter, and why they don't try to keep it clear I do not know. Sandstone is as long, and a lot steeper, than any of the mountain passes I crossed going to Puyallup. I know they might measure snowfall out there in feet instead of inches, but when Sandstone is completely covered, not even 2 tracks clear, it can be pretty intense going down it. I finally eased on down about 15-20 mph. and made it OK. I unloaded in Petersburg Thursday, then reloaded for Roxana again with a 60' load this time. It delivers Tuesday.

There was the "synonimous Bengal fan", a character on Gary Burbank's radio show on 700 WLW- that's probably where it came from. He always called and changed words to be something different, but close enough to what the word really was that you knew what he meant to say...I think. I've confused myself again, I must be off.

Gee Rob, hope you're feeling better...almost makes me feel bad for picking on you just to see your response. I did a lot of "mig" (metal-inert gas) welding on aluminum, but never "tig". I've seen it done before though, and it's really neat. You can almost weld wreynolds wrap with a tig torch.
