Yes, it's just a routine 6 month cleaning and check-up. If i'd rescheduled they said the next appointment I could get would be in June or July, so I kept it. And yes she is-Mary the tooth babe I call her. You know her too?

It's going to King George, Va.- near Fredericksburg. It's probably on the way now. Someone else is delivering it because I have a tooth doctor appointment today. I will however be leaving for somewhere this evening...I hope.

I like those too, though I never got to drive a cabover Mack since the F-models. They just look way better than a Cruiseliner, I think.

I know exactly where that truckstop is-you can see Lake Erie from there. I've stopped at the Kwik-Fill across the screet many times. Last time I stopped I got 2 sloppy joes, and they weren't very good-not like they used to be. Looked like the store was open over at the new/old truckstop, but I didn't know they had a restaurant too. Now i'll be hoping for an Orchard Park load so I can check it out...I'll have to go with the smaller burger though. Or just git one of the bigguns and eat leftovers for a while. That IS a fine lookin' sammich!

They got it all around you, on rts. 25, 9, 90 but not by your house yet. I could see your house on the satellite image but it doesn't zoom very close. My place has been updated recently because it didn't use to zoom in close here, but I looked yesterday and it'll come in pretty clear. And you could actually see the house because there's no leaves on the trees. The updated satellite photo were taken in February,2007. Before it was hidden by the trees. I'm gonna check out Rob now-hope he wasn't in the yard in a bathrobe bending over to pick up his morning paper when the google street view camera passed by.

I just saw recently where a woman saw her husband's car at his girlfriend's house using street view...divorce proceedings are in the works. I checked to see if the hot babe up here across from the store was pushing her mower in those short shorts, but no luck.

The same principle is applied to bleeding the booster as a wheel cylinder. You start bleeding at the master cylinder, then go to the booster, then the wheel cylinders.This may sound crazy, but when I worked at a garage in the early 70's we were working on the brakes on a 2 ton truck- relined the brakes and rebuilt all the wheel cylinders. We got it all done and all that was left was to bleed the brakes, and we couldn't get a pedal. Bled them again, got a good pedal, let it set a few minutes-pedal would go to the floor. The old timer there said "let me show you boys something". He told us to open ALL the bleeder screws. Then he had us pump the brake pedal until just fluid came out the booster,then closed that bleeder screw. Then to the left front wheel, same thing- right front wheel, same thing. Then did the rear wheels the same way, and no air was in the system. We had a full pedal and it stayed that way. Just a thought (Paul Van Scott), if nothing else works to get a good pedal.

I had the exact same situation myself. Last time I got a new set of drive tires it felt like I was driving on ice at first. By the time i'd made one trip it was unnoticable.

Rob has been MIA all day now...i'm gittin' kinda worried -hope Momma didn't finally do him in. Anyhow, I went to the shop today and took a couple of chains and flags off that load of rebar, and measured the tool box on my trailer. Got some onion sets on the way home and planted them. Went to Wal-Mart and got some fertilizer and stuff, then tilled the fertilizer in. Made an insert out of some 2x 10 plank I had for the tool box on the trailer, so next time the door flies open on the Capital Beltway some Friday evening maybe all my stuff won't hit the road. Put a ham in the oven-it's almost done. Just didn't want you to think i've been loafing all day- but "Tombstone" was on TV when I came in, then "Wyatt Earp" came on next-both on A&E. I watched 'em both. Jo prefers "Tombstone", mostly because of Val Kilmer I think, but I think "Wyatt Earp" is better. Val Kilmer is great as Doc Holliday, though Dennis Quaid ain't bad, but Kevin Costner is way better as Wyatt Earp than Kurt Russell...but that's just MY opinion. Both are good movies. I told Jo Sam Elliott should have been Wyatt instead of Kurt Russell and "Tombstone" would have been better. I said Sam Elliott was born to be in a western, and she can't stand him for some reason. And for some reason I just can't quite see Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp. That's the "Big Mack Movie Review" for this week...what's your opinion? Anybody seen Rob?..if he was gonna r-u-n-n-o-f-t he coulda' at least told somebody ...wonder what she's gonna do with the r-model
