  1. good thing with the no log book trip-I had mine and all paperwork checked 4 times on the trip, more than i'd usually have it checked in a year around these parts.
  2. Damn you're good! And I concur! It's all his fault!..hmmmm...I might run fer office someday
  3. ...but what about my feelings? I should cry about what I passed up!
  4. got no parts to share-they're all on the truck, and i only got the one...I'll have to beg Rob if I need any parts, that's why i'm always nice to him. And because I have so much respect and love for him as a fellow human bean-last thing i'd want would be to make him cry.
  5. I am...hopefully! Mike ought to-and he should fly up and get Rob! Hope Rob can fly Mike's plane-Nikki might knock Mike out when he gets there!
  6. OK, you're starting off- 1st. in main, lo split in compound-shift compound to direct, then to hi split. Next shift main to second, then compound back to lo split ( we're talking Mack here, triplex or quadruplex, otherwise think of it as under-direct-over ), direct, hi split. Next shift is main to 3rd, then compound back to lo split, then direct, then hi split, then main to 4th, compound to lo-split, direct, hi-split, then main to 5th. Like Herb said... Now you're in the "big hole". Carry all your 170 horsepowers on down the road...
  7. I was gonna post a link to mine, but I can't hold a candle to "Twin Stick Pappy". He's the best i've seen, since Freighttrain's video. They're way better than me because they get more practice... OK, here's mine anyway
  8. This is funnier than the Sunday comics...
  9. Jeff offered to get me one of them new "high powered" Mack Titans, but I said "naw, what would Rob do for entertainment then?", so I declined .
  10. Of course I didn't-I have way too much respect for you as a human bean to blame you for anything!
  11. get under a tall tree,quick!..just kiddin'!
  12. Karl finally got out of the "nervous hospital" and ended up becoming a cop...
  13. I made that trip to Puyallup this winter, my first trip to the great northwest too. I'd been to California several times, but it was 30 years ago. I loved it, except for the snow and ice part-you can really cover some ground in a day out there in the wide open spaces, with little traffic on the road, 70 or 75 mph speed limits, and it's just beautiful country too. I certainly wouldn't mind making that trip again now that it's warm. Montana's probably even prettier now.
  14. I'm glad I drive a Peterbilt. You'd probly be bored without having me to pick on.
  15. Besides, if we were like real politicians we'd have a secret meeting in the back room of a body shop at an undisclosed location somewhere in the midwest, with a cloud of cigar smoke over us and the liquor flowing freely- then blame somebody else that had nothing to do with us veering off course, like nocluejoe, or perhaps Greg Rider
  16. hey, it was good enough for grandpa! btw, i've scrood around with this picture so much i've lost the original face...uh, you wouldn't happen to have, uh... maybe you could post it again so we can continue to mess with it?..perhaps?..just a thought (Paul VanScott) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w5Le0w4pQ8

    Garden

might as well talk about the garden...ain't been doing any truckin'. It's really growing and looking good. Even the upside down tomater in the bucket looks pretty good...bucket's kinda ugly though. Got some herbs in the round things. Waitin' on Paul to tell me what to do with 'em. And squirrels are already eating the peaches, and they're not even close to being ripe. Why don't these squirrels eat all these acorns and hickory nuts around here, like real squirrels?
  18. oh...sorry-I really like her "Mack" necklace and earrings!
  19. yes it does-I like her Peterbilt necklace and earrings too!
