  1. Saw this one in Petersburg last week.  I'm not a Western Star expert, but I think this is a Low Max. Not my favorite Western Star model, but some of those new ones are sharp looking trucks.

Nothing wrong with clipping coupons.  Don't lend the new straps to any of those steel haulers that you have shown pics of.

They could come in real handy- I picked up 2 yesterday,  and I called Jeff and told him. They're $14.99 for one, or two for $15- that's like getting another one for a penny!

thanks for posting this tom thats just down the road from me & never been there, and happy belated bd

Thank you. This was the first time i'd been there in probably 25 or 30 years. It used to be privately owned and very expensive, but now it's a national park and only costs $8 for an adult, very well worth it too.

Good I was waiting to see you on the news for personal space violation charges  lmao.good thing the redhead straighten things out.

Yes, this was in Florida, and I was here in Gladys, Va. I could probably get myself in trouble with a camera like hers, she could take a picture that clear from a quarter of a mile away. But, in a public place I guess you're fair game anyway, I don't know.

Think that one girl noticed you taking a pic of her "dog"lol

Ha-ha, I thought that too at first but I could see she's not looking at the camera when I put it on the big screen. But the redhead took it, not me. She went and talked to her, said she was really nice.

It sure seems I've seen that truck in the past where it was sitting on 460. We traveled there, (Appomattox Courthouse) a couple of times when I was in the Navy to see the sites when the kids were little. Used to be several former military trucks around there too that were used in VFD's.

That truck was there for a long time, a few miles west of Appomattox. I had never seen it until they cleaned off a little piece of land there, and cleared the trees and underbrush. You could tell that it had been there a long time, but it was so covered up in bushes you couldn't see it.When I stopped back then there was a coil and some plug wires on the ground beside it, like somebody had been trying to get it running.

OK l need to ask, why the hell do they have aggie tires on the Macks?   .....Hippy

I was wondering the same thing, I thought they probably used them to pull loads of wood and chips out of the woods to a landing. But most companies have one or two trucks to do that with, and just about everything there had those tires on it.
