    From the frame letting go, the dump body hit the cab. Frame broke right by the cradle.

    i had the same problem w my 97 rd i ran the truck for 5 years and it never grew etc, id run it and see how it goes if it cracks more go with your original plan..

    id stick with the 17.5 ft body, i have to triaxles with 17.5 ft bodies and pull a tag along with no issues
