  5. No Daughters have claimed ownership of the Superliner,,,they love the B but that is as they say grampa's truck. The Super they are already begging me to let them drive.
  6. That liberty Suprliner I Believe was owned by Cappello Trucking in Northboro Ma, the truck is now at Josephs equipment in Manchester NH, he had the truck in his garage with the rest of his collection. I got a good look at it 2wks ago when I purchased my 89 Superliner from him. The truck I believe has less than 800 original miles, looks just like it rolled off the factory floor incredible truck, still has plates from 86 and Ma inspection sticker on window from 86.
  7. Cogradulations on your truck,,,,seems to be the week for superliners, just picked up mine last week an RW753. Funny how we go from B's to Superliners. Enjoy and look forward to your pics.

  12. Greg, Both the trucks are also in Wilmington, They are at C&J Equipment on main st. The B-61 is kept in my fathers shop. Thankyou all for the nice comments, I will post more pics as I can gather them up of the B-61sx its nice to see so many people that appreciate the looks and time to make these old trucks look as good as they do.
  13. Thanks for all the comments on our trucks, The B-61sx was a true labor of love for my father, that truck is a tripple rail and it had to be all dismantled to remove the rust that had formed between the rails, the cab was fully restored and all new interior pieces added as needed, we redid all the gauges and the motor was rebuilt its a 673C I believe. All the work was done in his shop with only the paint work being done outside. This truck we are just the 4th owners of her and she was sold by then Lawrence Mack, and restored with parts from Watt's Mack including new wiring harness thankyou. The Super Liner was the one Joseph was selling, he got it from Brillo ( Cappello Trucking) who took very good care of the truck, right now only major thing to do on it is paint the frame and repair some rust spots on the passenger door. I runs great so far with the 425 cat in it, just removed all the lettering off the doors this weekend and aside for the minor tinkering in great shape for 24 yr old truck.
  14. hello everyone, Just joined your site and have enjoyed reading your posts and friendly advice from all. As for me I just aquired my first truck and one I have always wanted an 89 Super Liner, she has aged well and look forward to restoring it over time. I also own with my father a 1965 B-61SX that was a 10 year ground up restoration, every thing on that truck was restored from front to back and ground up, this truck is also a tractor like the Super Liner. I look forward to reading the many posts here and adding pics of my truck as we move forward.
