There had been a 1966 B53 with 44k rears that was for sale out in Orgeon with a 237 and a 6 speed. Was in very good shape for 1500 and he had some jakes to throw in on the deal. Its not on CL as of now but I sitll have his contact if you want to see if it is still up for a good home -

Nice A40 it looks pretty straight better than most of the As when there found. The 5.9 should work with a bit of work. Depending on how much you plan to drive it..it may not be worth swapping in a diesel if you can get the gasser running. Welcome to BMT
