  1. My wife grew up in Lodi. Nice little town. I spent a lot of time picking up trucks for Penske Truck Leasing at Atlantic DD...........right next to the Bada-Bing!
  2. That was in Wheels of Time (Nov/Dec 2005) a few years back. Nice tractor!
  3. I spotted this rascal hiding behind Gerhart's back in 2007.
  4. Nice old B-75 wrecker from Overdrive found on the web.
  5. It's a great color combination! From my work computer the first pics look like a panoramic view.
  6. I thought for sure that someone would post some pics of the Superliners at Gerhart's this past weekend. Here are the lineup shots.
  7. Great show today. I'm glad the weather held out. The 2 rows of Superliners was awesome!
  8. Autocar spec sheet found on the web. Ford made a batch of '58 Ford Thunderbirds stamped out of stainless steel as well. The S.S was real tough on the stampings and would require much tooling repairs. http://www.squarebirds.org/stainless_steel_cars.htm
  9. Here's a clean shot of this truck. Pic found on the web.
  10. Talk about Mack overload! Sounds like they had a nice visit and saw some awesome equipment too.
  11. Wow that truck collection is really growing. Lots of familiar looking trucks in there. I really like those "hot rod" tractors as well. Thanks for sharing!
  12. I got a shot of the engine over the weekend. Car is currently on ebay. No connections to seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Other-BASIC-78-chevy-chevette-rare-big-block-427-custom-gasser-street-rod-original-hot-/331330068884?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4d24cfa194&item=331330068884&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
  13. That is a most awesome honor! I have a few of Robert's books in my library namely the two excellent Autocar books that are becoming harder to find.
  14. It's a '52. http://www.mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm?lot_id=HA0412-128744
  15. 90 day Haz-waste pickup again. The Freightshaker carries the supplies (empty steel drums, vermiculite, etc) and the Pete hauls away the waste (expired raw materials, solvents, bulk pilot batches, etc). Being a large quantity waste generator, we'll put sometimes a 1/2 or 2/3 trailer's worth of waste drums every 3 months.
  16. I think I saw this car on a TV show.
  17. The Amaducci wrecker back in the day.
  18. ....and the fixed 5th wheel and same banged up cross member in front of said 5th wheel, oh and stack location too.
  19. Nice little Styleside taken at 2011 Macungie.
  20. Buffalo NY-based early R Model. Found on the web.
  21. Here's a pic when Fred owned it. I used to see it at Macungie every year. The hood with the lower-set headlights was used for '72 and up until the General came out in '77. Bumper holes accomodated the deep radiator. The '72-76 Chevy MH90 was scarce even when new. Pic found on the web.
  22. Dang! What happened to that poor girl? I shot this pic back in 2006. Such a shame to see it neglected like that.
