  1. you can try Illinois dyno and buy the plug and play ECU..it gives 15% and 30p% more power on the E-7s
  2. now im having an eradic idle..the idle goes up and down 200 to 300 rpm,,while just idling...im still low on boost...has anyone had issues with the male n female round plug for the injector pump on the E-7
  3. thanks guys,,i took the truck to the big island and a guy hooked up the diagnostic machine on it,,a 142 code came up..saying failure for ECU to comunicate with pump...cant see hows that posisble and the truck working fine except for the low boost..im goin to check that hose above the compressor and clean up the harness at the injector pump and on the firewall...wish me luck
  4. having a low boost issues on my mack truck,,revs clean but only goes to 15/18 lbs of boost under load..very low on hp lately,,plus my speedo says arou d 25mph while im doin 55mph
  5. strange no one can figure this smoke at startup issue,,im wondering if its oil from a tiny crack in the heads,,the ruff idle and smoke only takes about 3-5 seconds and its gone..since this smoke issue the engine swings a lil before it fires up
  6. im kinda having this same issue,,starts with a few puff of smoke then smoothens right out in a few seconds...my trucks pulls really strong but now im only getting 24lbs of boost(96 E-7 mack dumptruck 454hp)...the trucks just dont sound right under heavy loads,,like a cylinder is weak..would smoke sometimes during normal driving at around 1200rpm range ,,if you go full throttle the smoke would go away..i took the sensor and the econovance off the injector pump and inspected both,,i messed with the harness for the injector pump and the truck stopped the smoking while driving..im wondering if the lil shaft that rest on the econovance solenoid isnt worn or sometime inside where that shaft goes is worn
