  1. Matt: It worked for me.. When I clicked on your link a got a small white box in the lower left corner.. clicked on it and you video opened fine.. Thanks!!
  2. I do not know what engine RPM your spreader needs to work properly?? With enough low gears in the tranny (quad or tri plex) you should be able to do your spreading work without abusing the engine so it should(???) last a long time. Especially if you truck the material to be spread to the yard or field rather than having the spreader chase a long way for it..
  3. And it is NOT just a show piece... They use it to haul other trucks to various shows..
  4. Mech: you are correct on the Viet Nam era name.. Living and running out of North East PA in the 70's I ran the "Trail" a couple times a week.. It was the village of Milford PA that objected to all the truck traffic. The village of Milford did NOT want a bypass in the 60's, afraid they would lose their precious tourist traffic trade, then bitched when they got all the truck traffic when I-84 was opened across NY..
  5. Our condolences to your entire family.... I am with TJC and stay away from the citys!!!! My son in law, born and raised in Conn, Cannot figure out why I come up to Scranton PA and I-81 and across I-84 to their place instead of I-287 across the Tappan Zee bridge.. NO WAY IN HELL WILL I COME THRU NYC!!!!!
  6. Glad you enjoyed the show.. Hope to see you at Colfax this week
  7. Paul, That warped picture does not help, BUT I will guess a late 50's to mid 60's model 257???? It is a 200 series and i do not know exactly when the 300 series with the big square grille was introduced..
  8. When you mentioned Roll Up trailer doors I knew exactly the bolts you were talking about..
  9. Any Guesstimate on the split between antique and working?????
  10. OK!! I follow what you are doing... My mind had the flat washer on top..
  11. Will you need to countersink them to prevent snags????
  12. Dean, I am NOT going to make Cherokee..But will be in Colfax the next weekend..
  13. Great Fleet!!! They ALL look like they could go right to work ASAP!!
  14. Yes on the A model.. I cannot remember which windshield to E model had.. That postimage is free...
  15. Big R;; I only have a desk top, no phone or laptop, But I got around the picture limit by using postimage.com to post pictures.. There have been some other topics discussing using outside picture sites.. Maybe someone smarter than I can help you, especially with a laptop or phone????
  16. The turbos on the day cab F models was back of the cab and they would be cherry red at night pulling Fancy Gap!!!
  17. As D-Day said check all your wire connections from the battery to the starter and the small wires that lead to the ignition switch and starter switch and back to the engagement solenoid on the starter.. With not even a click means a loose or broken wire somewhere???
  18. Carolina and Overnight both had a bunch of the F models..
  19. Sound more like a loose or broken wire between the starter switch and the starter solenoid????
  20. Jojo, If you are like me there are times my fingers move faster than my BRAIN!!!!
  21. Carlotpilot:: WELCOME BACK!!! Hope you and the Mrs are doing OK..
  22. Kenny Rex of Northampton PA (Allentown) Has green Diamond Reo conventional.. long wheelbase but NO sleeper that I remember?? It was at Macungie 2 years ago. Came in on Saturday Morning and was parked up by the pool across from the main trailer parking.
  23. I was told when I bought my Diamond T 921 cab over that it would not go into reverse.. Replaced the universal joint in the shift linkage and it worked perfect..
  24. DO NOT put it in neutral.. Leave it in gear so when you come out of the corner you can get the gear you need to speed back up.
  25. Paul, Thank you for the ad.. Various outfits must have imported Brockways even earlier than your ad as Archie Baines down in Victoria has a, just postwar, Model 88 (the smallest Brockway) front clip, cowl and chassis in his boneyard when we were down in 2015..
